Publisher Fined $10K by French Court for 5 Anti-Semitic books

Publisher of Henry Ford’s “The International Jew” and “The Anthology of Quotes against Jews, Judaism and Zionism” by Paul-Eric Blanrue fined over $10K for “incitement to racial hatred” and “denials of genocide”.

Citing anti-Semitic content, a French court sanctioned a publishing house for five books, including one first printed more than a century ago.

The court in Bobigny, near Paris, last week handed down a blanket ban on the publication and dissemination of one book, “The Anthology of Quotes against Jews, Judaism and Zionism” by Paul-Eric Blanrue.

The court said the book contained “incitement to racial hatred” and “denials of genocide,” which are illegal in France.

Dutch Roman Catholic station pulls Jews-killed-Jesus ad off air following protests


The video, aired at the end of a children’s program on a Roman Catholic station, featured a song which accuses Jews of plotting to kill Jesus.

A Dutch Catholic public broadcaster has apologized and pulled off the air a video clip featuring a song which accuses Jews of plotting to kill Jesus.

The video, which was aired earlier this month at the end of a children’s program on the Rooms-Katholiek Kerkgenootschap (Roman Catholic Church Association) television station featured a song by Pearl Jozefzoon, about how Jews regarded Jesus. Continue Reading »

Swedish Jew and outspoken opponent to anti-Semitic violence Annika Hernroth-Rothstein has filed for asylum in her own country, Elder of Ziyon reports. The move is a public statement of dissent against the Scandinavian country’s anti-Semitic policies, which include a ban on ritual slaughter (shehita) and circumcision (brit milah), two major laws central to Jewish law and life.

Brandeis U cuts partnership with Palestinian university after its Nazi-style rally

 

Brandeis University found Palestinian demonstrators cheerfully waving Nazi flags & offering traditional Nazi salute as the reason for the suspension.

Brandeis University has suspended its partnership with the Palestinian Al-Quds University.

Brandeis University President Frederick Lawrence made the announcement Monday, saying the university will re-evaluate the relationship in the future. The universities have been sister institutions since 1998.

The decision was made in light of recent events at the university, which has campuses in Jerusalem, Abu-Dis and Al-Bireh, including a November 5 Nazi-style demonstration at the main campus.

During the demonstration, protesters marched in black military gear with fake automatic weapons while waving flags and offering the traditional Nazi salute.

Italian police raid homes of neo-Nazis spreding anti-Semitism online

The 35 arrested suspects, accused of spreading racial hatred & anti-Semitism, had opened a new website that replaced the Italian branch of the white supremacist website Stormfront.org.

 

 

Italian police raided the homes of 35 suspected neo-Nazi sympathizers, accusing them of setting up an online forum to spread anti-Semitic ideology, on Thursday. The operation was conducted in 22 provinces around the country, including in Rome and Milan.

A university campus known as a hotbed of anti-Israel activity is once more in the spotlight after students condemned what they termed Israeli attacks on Palestinians’ right to education.

The students’ union at Middlesex University in north London has put up a plaque claiming that: “Checkpoints, attacks on universities and limitations on movement seriously hinder the ability of students in Palestine to learn.”

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, responded to a letter in which he was asked to disband a body that advised building ties with Hamas, saying that the gov’t has no control over Anti-Israel Report.

The Dutch Prime Minister has responded to a letter by the Simon Wiesenthal Center last month, in which he was asked to disband a statutory government body that has called on the Netherlands to develop closer ties to the terrorist organization Hamas at the expense of Israel.

Neo-Nazi’s appeal awards him extra year in French jail

The Colmar court of appeals sentenced Nicolas Lecureur, 24, to an additional year in prison Wednesday for desecrating Jewish graves.

A Frenchman who helped desecrate 90 Jewish and Muslim graves had his jail term extended by one year following his failed appeal for a lighter sentence.

The Colmar court of appeals sentenced Nicolas Lecureur, 24, to a year in prison Wednesday for his actions, which he committed in eastern France in 2010 with two accomplices, Jonathan Husser and Matthias Leyer, according to L’Alsace daily.

All three men began serving an 18-month jail term in June 2012, but Lecureur appealed the sentence, claiming to have new evidence that prove his innocence.

According to the report, Adam Wiercinski was subjected to highly offensive gestures and remarks made by the supervisors at the Manhattan eatery, Mangia.

A 23 year-old man has been arrested over a racially-motivated assault in which he punched two Israeli men – because he thought they were speaking Spanish.

Dylan T. Grall of Janesville, Wisconsin attacked the two men, who were conversing in Hebrew, on Madison street on Saturday morning.
