Facebook cooperates with Israeli officials, removes 95% of terror incitement

 

Israel’s Ministers Shaked & Erdan and representatives from Facebook agreed to form a task force to fight online hate & incitement – but Israel’s option of legislation forcing social networks’ total cooperation is till on table.

Facebook cooperates with the authorities the vast majority of the time the government asks the network to remove content inciting to terrorism, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked said Monday, shortly after she and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan met with a senior delegation from the social media giant.

According to Shaked, Facebook removed 95 percent of 158 inciting posts, and YouTube, owned by Google, removed 80% of 13 videos, at the government’s request. Continue Reading »

Conservative firebrand and radio talk-show host Glenn Beck revealed on a broadcast last week that during a recent conversation with controversial Hollywood director and actor Mel Gibson, the thespian claimed “Jewish people” had stolen an early copy of The Passion of the Christ movie and used it to attack him before the film’s release.

According to Internet publication The Daily Beast on Thursday, Beck had spoken to Gibson for some 90-minutes following a late August screening of the the latter’s new film, Hacksaw Ridge, which has reportedly garnered rave reviews at the box-office in recent weeks. Continue Reading »

German police raid 60 authors of anti-Semitic internet postings

In a nationwide attempt to identify & arrest the sources of hateful, anti-Semitic postings on the internet, police in 14 German states conduct coordinated raids on 60 individuals.

BERLIN (JTA) — Police in 14 German states reportedly conducted raids on 60 individuals in an attempt to root out the sources of anti-Semitic and other hate postings on the internet.

According to German news reports, the raids followed months of observing one Facebook group that glorified National Socialism and broke German laws against promoting hate.

Palestinian Mother Ecstatic Son Murdered Sleeping Jewish Child

 

Mother of Palestinian youth who slaughtered Israeli-American child thanks Allah, urges more Jewish children murdered.

Those were the words of Mohammed Taraireh’s mother to Palestinian media hours after he butchered a 13-year-old Israeli girl, Hallel Yaffe Ariel (pictured). Mohammed was shot and killed by security officials responding to Hallel’s screams.

While Mrs. Taraireh proudly owned her son’s savagery, official Palestinian Authority media suggested the attack might not have taken place, and that Israeli forces killed Mohammed for no reason.

The ruling delivered last week by the French Cassation Court concerned seven activists whom a criminal appeals court in Caen in southern France slapped with a $1,000 fine each and a conviction for calling for discriminatory acts during the 2010 demonstration outside a supermarket that sold Israeli goods.

Jewish organizations in New York have expressed dissatisfaction that the Manhattan Police did not adequately address the complainant that a mezuzah, a scroll inscribed with religious texts mounted on the doorpost, was stolen from a rabbi’s home.

Ted Nugent accused of promoting anti-Semitic gun control post on Facebook

 

On his Facebook page, famed American rocker Ted Nugent posted photo that blames Jews for advocating gun control legislation.

Right-wing rocker Ted Nugent came under fire from Jewish groups for an anti-Semitic Facebook post blaming prominent Jews for pushing gun control.

On Monday, Nugent shared a graphic featuring images of 12 Jewish leaders — including former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Democratic New York Sen. Chuck Schumer — branded with Israeli-flag images, below the words: “So who is really behind gun control?”
