Connecticut College Fully Emerged in Anti-Semitism and Anti-Israel Bias

For the second straight semester, Andrew Pessin, a Connecticut College professor is still off-campus after receiving death threats for exposing Hamas on Facebook.

A pro-Israel professor won’t be on campus at Connecticut College when classes start Monday, missing the second straight semester since his 2014 Facebook post criticizing Hamas led to death threats and ostracism.

Andrew Pessin “requested and received a sabbatical for the Spring semester to continue his studies in Jewish philosophy and Israel studies,” Connecticut College spokeswoman Pamela Serfes said in an email last week. “He has been and continues to be a valued member of the Connecticut College faculty.” Continue Reading »

Western European Jews fleeing from anti-Semitism are welcome to take refuge in the Russian Federation, which is “ready to accept them,” President Vladimir Putin told a visiting delegation of Jewish community leaders on Tuesday.

The increase of anti-Semitic attacks throughout western Europe has Jews so worried for the personal safety of their families, the Jewish Agency figures 8,000 new immigrants have come from France in the past year, as a result.

The Jewish Agency revealed on Thursday that the number of Jews who made Aliyah to Israel from Western Europe has reached an all-time high.

The French government firmly condemns boycotts of Israel, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls this week said, warning against the phenomenon of organizations criticizing Israeli policies turning to anti-Semitic activities.

Vatican releases landmark document: Catholics should not endeavor to convert Jews

 

 

Catholics should not try and convert Jews and should work with them to fight anti-Semitism, the Vatican said Thursday in a major new document that drew the Church further from the strained relations with Judaism of the past.

German court fines Danish imam for seeking murder of ‘Zionist Jews’ in videotaped sermon

A German criminal court has fined Danish imam Sheikh Abu Bilal Ismail for incitement to hatred after convicting him of calling at a Berlin mosque for the extermination of Jews during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge.

The Jerusalem Post obtained a copy of the 16-page court verdict on Tuesday.

Seniors at prestigious Dutch university turn Jewish student’s room into ‘Nazi death camp’ with Swastikas & other Nazi symbols as part of an initiation rite.

 

A Jewish student at a Dutch university was shocked to discover recently that his fellow students had spray-painted swastikas and Nazi symbols on the walls of his room as part of an initiation rite.

The management at the Netherlands’ prestigious Leiden University said it would take harsh measures against the students responsible for the incident, which took place several days ago.
