IDF strikes multiple Hamas targets in Gaza following rocket attack on Southern Israel

Israel Police confirmed that the third rocket fired struck an Israeli community, hitting a building in the Negev region bordering the Gaza Strip, causing damage but no injuries.

Three rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israel on Friday morning, the IDF said, adding that two of the rockets were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system.

Israel Police confirmed that a third rocket struck an Israeli community in the Negev region bordering the Gaza Strip, causing damage to a building but no injuries. Police bomb disposal experts are working at the scene.

Gaza Terrorists Fire Rocket at Israel

 – Authorities acknowledge no injuries or damage reported.

A rocket fired Tuesday evening from the Gaza Strip exploded in an open area in the Ashkelon Regional Council. There were no casualties and no damage was reported.

Ashkelon residents heard the red alert siren, followed by a loud boom as the rocket exploded, Channel 2 reprted.

IDF forces are searching the area for the remains of the rocket.

IDF locates remnant of rocket fired from Gaza early Sunday morning in an open field, having presumed earlier it had exploded mid-air.

The Israeli army announced on Sunday afternoon that a rocket fired from Gaza in the early hours of the morning, had not exploded in mid-air as previously thought, but in fact landed in an open field inside Israel. No injuries or damage were reported.

Tonights attack, still without reports of injuries or damage, follows a similar unprovoked rocket-attack earlier this week, causing Israeli jets to strike 5 Hamas targets in retaliation.

A rocket exploded in an open area near the southern Ashkelon coastline Wednesday evening. There were no initial reports or injuries or damage.

Security forces were sweeping the area. Red alert sirens were not sounded as the rocket fell in an open area.

There has been no official claim of responsibility for the projectile’s launch, but Israel holds Hamas responsible for all fire coming from the Gaza Strip.
