IDF locates remnant of rocket fired from Gaza early Sunday morning in an open field, having presumed earlier it had exploded mid-air.
The Israeli army announced on Sunday afternoon that a rocket fired from Gaza in the early hours of the morning, had not exploded in mid-air as previously thought, but in fact landed in an open field inside Israel. No injuries or damage were reported.

Following the explosions of a Gaza rocket shot at Israel, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit explained the IAF retaliatory strike saying, “The IDF considers the Hamas terrorist organization solely responsible for what is happening in the Gaza Strip.”
The Israel Defense Forces reported a projectile was fired into southern Israeli territory Wednesday night, landing in an open area in the Negev.
There were no injuries reported and the defense forces are searching the area.

A rocket exploded in an open area near the southern Ashkelon coastline Wednesday evening. There were no initial reports or injuries or damage.
Security forces were sweeping the area. Red alert sirens were not sounded as the rocket fell in an open area.
There has been no official claim of responsibility for the projectile’s launch, but Israel holds Hamas responsible for all fire coming from the Gaza Strip.

No physical injuries have been reported, but there was damage to a residential neighborhood and a number of people are being treated for shock. The rocket is said to have exploded in between two homes at around 10:20 a.m.
