IDF exposes ‘covert Hezbollah terror network’ on Syrian border with Israel

IDF believes the secret Hezbollah network called “The Golan File,” is operating without Assad’s knowledge, and intends to carry out future attacks inside Israel as their operatives have been surveilled gathering intel on IDF troop movements, stockpiling weapons and assembling a military infrastructure.

The Israeli military has uncovered a covert terror network set up by Lebanese terror group Hezbollah on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, in order to carry out attacks against Israel, the IDF said Wednesday. Mysterious WhatsApp message warns Beirut residents of weapon caches

Lebanese newspaper attributes to Israel how thousands of residents from the Dahieh suburb of Beirut received WhatsApp messages on their mobile phones, warning them that the Iranian proxy, Hezbollah, has weapons storage facilities in their area, suggesting residents ‘proceed with caution’.

Thousands of residents of the Dahieh suburb south of Beirut, an area controlled by Hezbollah, received anonymous mobile phone notifications warning them they live in close proximity to a weapons storage compound that has the potential of exploding at any moment, the Asharq al-Awsat newspaper reported on Wednesday, implying Israel is responsible for incident.

IDF Intel Chief exposed Iran’s funding of anti-Israel terror groups

IDF intel chief: Next Hezbollah war will turn Lebanon into another refugee state

 

Maj.-Gen. Herzi Halevi, speaking at the annual security conference noted that, “In the next wars, the majority of weapons that will attack Israel will be Iranian products,” suggesting Israel will need to escalate in its defense.
