Senior IRGC official & Hezbollah commander reportedly killed in Syria by IDF

Although Lebanese reports confirmation of a senior Hezbollah official killed in Syria, Iran is conspicuously silent on the demise of their Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps official.

Israeli strikes in Syria reportedly killed a Hezbollah military commander and an Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) senior official.

The (Israeli) Kan public broadcaster reported that Hezbollah military commander Imad al-Amin was killed in western Syria.

The Lebanese terror group confirmed on Telegram that al-Amin was killed “while fulfilling his duties” but did not specify when or how. Continue Reading »

Turkey destroys Syrian chemical warfare facility, kills 10 Hezbollah bosses

Multiple sources reported on Saturday that a chemical warfare facility and a range of other Syrian regime targets were hit in multiple Turkish strikes, killing ten fighters and wounding at least 30 others at a Hezbollah HQ near Saraqeb.

At least nine members of Lebanese Hezbollah were killed in a Turkish strike in Syria’s Idlib, multiple sources reported on Saturday.

According to London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, ten Hezbollah members, including officers, were killed in the clashes in the vicinity of Saraqeb, a strategic town in north Syria.

Syrian media: Israel assassinated senior Hezbollah commander

According to a Syrian media report, an Israeli drone destroyed the car a Hezbollah leader, Imad at-Tawil was driving, as he was surveying the Syrian side of the Golan Heights bordering Israel.

An Israeli drone assassinated a senior Hezbollah operative on Thursday, Arab media reported.

According to the reports, the official is Imad at-Tawil.

The Jordan-based outlet Al-Hadath reported that Tawil was in charge of creating an Iranian-backed terrorist network on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, presumably in order to make that area a theater of operation against Israel. Continue Reading »

REPORT: Hezbollah, Iranian forces in Syria mysteriously poisoned

Syrian media reports contaminated water traced to areas south of the capital have mysteriously poisoned IRGC troops and Hezbollah militants, leaving many questions of foul play since Russia has been trying to counter any Iranian presence near Damascus.

A large number of Hezbollah fighters and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps troops were hospitalized due to food poisoning this week, Syrian state media reported Wednesday.

According to the reports, the poisoning can be traced to water in one of Damascus’s southern suburbs, although it was unclear why it had been contaminated and whether this was intentional.

A massive explosion at the Shayrat Airbase in central Syria has left 31 people dead and dozens more wounded, Arab media reported Saturday.

According to the report, the fatalities include Syrian soldiers and Shiite militiamen.

Assad’s threats ignored: Iranian base in Syria hit by multiple missiles, assumed Israeli

Reports by Syrian media say that the target of another “Israeli aggression” was an Iranian base in the Jamaraya region.

Syrian air defense intercepted several Israeli missiles targeting an Iranian base west of the capital of Damascus, Syrian state media said Wednesday.

Describing it as “a new Israeli aggression,” Syria’s official news agency SANA said Israeli fighter jets flying in Lebanese airspace fired a number of missiles towards the area of Jamraya research center targeting an Iranian base.

Report: IAF jets destroy Hezbollah ordnance at Syrian army outposts in Damascus suburb

 

Again an aerial attack is attributed to Israel, this one on the Syrian army’s 3rd Division in al-Katif, with Lebanese press quoting officials reporting Hezbollah military buses were destroyed.

According to the reports, Israeli warplanes were circling Lebanese airspace in the Baalbek area at around 3am Wednesday, carrying out the attack from over Lebanon.Officials cited by Lebanese media estimated the attack was targeting Hezbollah military buses.

In a counter statement issued by Hezbollah, they claimed that the reports stating that the Israeli attacks targeted Hezbollah’s outposts in Lebanon or Syria are incorrect.
