Day after reports circulated that Gill Rosenberg, who is fighting IS alongside Kurds in Syria, was abducted by terror organization, she posts on Facebook to discredit ‘bullshit stories.’

Gill Rosenberg, the Israeli-Canadian, who joined Kurdish forces in their battle against the radical Islamic State terror group and was said to have been taken captive by the group, posted on her Facebook page Monday night to say that she was “safe and secure.”

Report: ISIS kidnaps former IDF female soldier who went to fight with the Kurds

Earlier this month, Gill Rosenberg, 31, said she decided to join the Kurdish fighters for humanitarian & ideological reasons, saying, “because they are our brothers.”

The Canadian- Israeli woman who joined the ranks of Kurdish fighters battling Islamic State earlier this month has been kidnapped by the organization that she went to fight, Channel Two reported on Sunday citing Syrian jihadi websites.

ISIS vows their flag will wave over Jerusalem, even if Jews & Crusaders don’t like it

The Islamic State says it will expand its rule over Islam’s holy places in Mecca & Medina, and to Rome & Jerusalem.

The threat appears in the foreword of the fifth edition of the organization’s official magazine, Dabiq – named for a town in the suburbs of Syria’s Aleppo, in which the group’s members believe their will be a great war between Muslims and the West after its armies conquer Syria.

Female IDF Soldier Joins Kurds to Fight ISIS

31 yr-old former IDF warrior becomes 1st Israeli to volunteer to join the Kurds in their desperate war against the Islamic State.

A female former IDF soldier has become the first Israeli to publicly join Kurdish forces battling against ISIS in Syria and Iraq, the nation learned on Tuesday.

“I’m on the Iraq-Syria border, and we’re currently about 3,000 meters from ISIS,” Gill Rosenberg, 31, told Israel Radio in a telephone interview from the battlefield. “I was given an RPG by the Kurdish army,” she said.

Rosenberg is a civil aviation pilot and served in an Israeli army search-and-rescue unit.

ISIS establishment of caliphate in Sinai is 1st step towards “advance on Jerusalem”

 

Sinai is slowly falling away from Egyptian influence as ISIS control pose a new & serious existential threat to both Egypt & Israel.

The Islamic State (ISIS) has announced that the Sinai Peninsula is now a caliphate, an Islamic state led by a supreme religious and political leader known as a caliph – i.e. “successor” – to Mohammed.

Reports around the Arab world are claiming that the establishment of a caliphate in the Sinai is the first step towards its “advance on Jerusalem.”

Egypt’s most active and notorious terror group, Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, has sworn allegiance to ISIS in Sinai.

Israeli Physician joined Islamic State, Killed in Combat

Dr. Othman Abdel-Kian, a resident at the Barzilai Medical Center, was killed in fighting according to Arab media sources.

 

A doctor who worked as an intern at Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon joined the Islamic State, the hospital confirmed on Sunday.

Arab media outlets reported that the doctor, Othman Abdel-Kian, was killed while fighting with the terrorist group.

Abdel-Kian, said to be a 26-year-old resident from the Bedouin village of Hura, completed his medical studies in Jordan and passed the tests to receive a temporary medical license to practice in Israel.

Israeli humanitarian workers have joined the effort to provide desperately-needed supplies to displaced victims of the brutal Islamic State terrorist group in northern Iraq and Syria.

IsraAID supplied beds, blankets, and food to over 1,000 families in the Kurdish city of Duhok, in northern Iraq. The Israeli aid agency worked with Canadian ONEXONE to deliver a convoy to a 14,000-strong refugee camp carrying 2,000 blankets and mattresses, as well as enough powdered milk for all the 1,015 babies under one year of age. Murdered Jewish US Journalist Was An Israeli

Beheaded Jewish journalist had made aliyah, risked his life by fasting on Yom Kippur & prayed facing Jerusalem in captivity.

American journalist Steven Sotloff, who was brutally beheaded by the Islamic State terrorist group, took great risks to keep his Jewish faith in captivity, a former fellow-captive of the murdered journalist told Yediot Aharonoth.

However, it turns out that Sotloff was in fact Israeli.

A media gag order on the issue was released on Wednesday, allowing publication of the fact that Sotloff made aliyah (immigration) to Israel in 2005 by himself, and studied at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.

Report: U.S. & Israel committed to help Jordan fight ISIS if attacked

US officials reported as saying Jordan could ask Jerusalem and the U.S. for assistance if the Islamist insurgents pursue a military assault on the Hashemite Kingdom.

Egypt security officials arrests 15 ISIS militants that entered Sinai via Gaza tunnels

After tracking militant cell crossing from Gaza through tunnels at Rafah, Egyptian special forces arrest 15 militants.

Egyptian special forces tracked and arrested a terrorist cell which had used tunnels to cross from Gaza into the Sinai Peninsula, Ma’ariv reported on Saturday. The 15 militants arrested belong to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Further interrogation of the cell by Egyptian forces revealed that the group’s intent was to relay messages and set up terrorist cells for the ISIS in Egypt, to fight the Egyptian government.

Cooperation between Israel and Jordan is growing as armed Sunni men from the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) make additional gains in Iraq, near the Jordan border, a senior source in the Jordanian Embassy in Israel told Ynet, detailing Jordan’s position regarding the ongoing crisis and potential US intervention.
