Sitting in the wood-paneled family room of their modest apartment in Jerusalem’s primarily Jewish Neveh Ya’acov neighborhood on Wednesday, Said watched as his son, clad in an orange jumpsuit, stated that he was an Israeli spy.

Former Libyan army general, Khalifa Haftar, who has set himself up as a warrior against Islamist militancy and who some also see as their savior, was planning to meet with Israeli officials on a visit in Amman, an Arab newspaper reported.

REPORT: ISIS now targeting Libya as jumping-point for its eventual invasion of Europe

The UK newspaper Telegraph, reports ISIS jihadists are planning to “flood Libya with militiamen from Syria & Iraq, who will then sail across the Mediterranean posing as migrants on people-trafficking vessels.”

Islamic State has set its sights on taking over Libya as a bridgehead to eventually waging war all across southern Europe, the British Telegraph is reporting on Wednesday.

Islamic State publicized a horrifying twenty minute video this week, the high point of which was the execution of a Jordanian pilot, Maaz al-Kassasbeh, by burning him alive. The film attempts to justify the punishment by describing Jordan’s part in the war against ISIS, using photos of ISIS dead, including women, children, men and mainly those burned to death.

Israel FM Liberman lauds Jordan’s King Abdullah for ‘decisive response’ to pilot’s execution by ISIS

Foreign Minister Liberman says Jordan demonstrated appropriate response by executing Islamic terrorists after inhumane murder of Kingdom’s pilot: “Terror cannot be defeated with words & declarations.”

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman on Wednesday sent his condolences to Jordanian King Abdullah after a pilot from the Hashemite Kingdom was burned alive and killed by Islamic State terrorists the previous day.

Jordan’s King Abdullah in an army uniform taken from the King’s Facebook account after he swore to increase war against ISIS.

“The citizens of Israel, who have been dealing with cruel terror of every kind for 66 years, identify with [Jordan’s] pain and support the harsh and decisive Jordanian response to the event,” he said after Jordan executed two terrorists in response to the incident.

Gazans on Monday joined in worldwide Muslim demonstrations, many of them violent, against the satirical French weekly Charlie Hebdo, which responded to the recent jihadist attack on its Paris office by publishing a caricature of Prophet Mohammed on its latest cover.

Israel Arrests 7 Galilee Arabs for Establishing Local ISIS Chapter

 

Gag order lifted: Key suspect proclaimed himself commander of “ISIS Palestine” in local chapter of the Islamic State group.

Seven residents of the Galilee were arrested in December and charged with establishing a local chapter of the Islamic State group, Israeli media reported on Sunday, as the courts lifted a gag order on the case. The seven, all Israeli Arabs, have been charged with affiliation with a terrorist organization and contact with a foreign agent.

According to the indictment submitted Sunday to the court, the suspects regularly met with a well-known Salafi sheikh in northern Israel to discuss the principles of the extremist Islamic sect.

Israel’s military censor on Sunday cleared for publication the recent arrest of a terrorist cell claiming affiliation with the Islamic State (formerly ISIS) in the Judean town of Hebron.

The Shabak (Israel’s equivalent of the FBI) worked together with the IDF in November to track and successfully arrest the terror cell, which was made up of Palestinian residents of Hebron. There were no injuries on either side in the raid.

Israel remains silent on security cooperation with Lebanese military

 

Despite being technically in a state of war, Jerusalem says IDF is prepared to work together with Lebanon’s armed forces to fight against Sunni Islamist militants.

Islamic State Commandeers Egyptian Warship, Planned to Attack Israeli Ship

 

Arab media reports: Islamic State took control of Egyptian missile boat near Suez, injuring 5 & 8 Egyptian sailors missing.

An investigation in Egypt is underway into a November 14 incident during which Islamic State members successfully hijacked an Egyptian missile boat.

According to Arab media reports Monday, the assailants planned to then attack and hijack an Israeli ship to use as leverage for the release of Palestinian prisoners.

The incident reportedly took place in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, by the Suez canal.
