Israelis send medicines & emergency medical supplies to Syrian children

 

Just Beyond Our Border’s members came together on social media, people from all over Israel, including religious settlers from the West Bank, and they just raised over NIS 2 million in crowd funding campaigns to buy medical supplies for children suffering in Syria’s civil war.

There is excitement in the air as members of the Just Beyond Our Border group box hundreds of different types of medicine and medical equipment for children affected by the civil war in Syria.

IDF retaliates, hitting Syrian targets after 3 mortars land in Israel’s Golan Heights

 

IDF unit opened fire on a position where 3 mortars were fire on Friday afternoon that landed & exploded in the Golan Heights. –  No physical injuries or damage were reported.

The Israeli military said on Friday that it had hit targets in Syria in response to three projectiles that landed in the Israeli Golan Heights earlier, in what the army said was likely stray fire from Syria’s civil war. There were no injuries or damage.

Thankful Syrian mother names Israel-born daughter, Sarah

 

Knowing the hospitals & clinics near her village have all been destroyed, a 29 yr-old pregnant Syrian woman makes way to the Israeli border where IDF soldiers transfer her to an Israeli hospital.
• “I’ll never forget what you did here,” she said.

A 29-year-old Syrian woman gave birth to a healthy girl last weekend in Ziv Medical Center in Safed, and in gratitude to the State of Israel, named the baby Sarah.

The woman came from a village around which every hospital and clinic had been destroyed in the long civil war. Nearing the end of her pregnancy, she made the dangerous trek to the Israeli border, and was brought to the hospital by the Israel Defense Forces, where she gave birth by caesarian section. Israelis donate winter cloths & blankets to Syrian refugees

 

Numerous Israeli youth movements opened 15 collection centers around the country where Israelis can donate winter clothes. The centers, that began their second winter clothes drive this season to assist Syrian refugees struggling to survive the winter, are in Druze, Arab, and Jewish communities.

The crisis in Syria hasn’t been ignored by Israel. Various Israeli youth movements, including the Youth Federation for Working and Studying, The Dror Movement, and the committed for the fight against genocide are leading a wide scale operation to collect winter clothes for Syrian refugees.

The Israeli Air Force struck and killed a cell of terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State group in Syria after shots were fired across the border at military forces in the Golan Heights on Sunday morning, according to an IDF statement.

In the first clashes between the IDF and an IS-linked group, the Israeli air force allegedly struck four operatives from the ISIS-linked Khalid ibn al-Walid Army (formerly known as Yarmouk Martyrs’ Brigade) who had initially opened fire at IDF forces in the southern Golan Heights at around 8:30am, east of the community of Avnei Eitan. Once again fighting between the sides in Syria has spilled over into Israel with a mortar shell exploding in the Golan Heights, requiring an IDF response by attacking Syrian artillery targets.

Following the “spillover firing” of a mortar from Syrian that landed in the Golan Heights, the IDF attacked on Sunday night Syrian army artillery. The shell fired into Israel was part of intra-national Syrian fighting, and it landed in an open area, not causing any injuries or damage.

The food has been showing up in Qunietra province which is on the border with the Israeli Golan Heights, specifically in areas controlled by rebel groups. REPORT: European Diplomats urge Hezbollah to reconsider attacking Israel in revenge for Kuntar

 

The report alleges European officials warned Lebanon’s Shiite Islamic group of Israel’s intent to respond heavily on Hezbollah, in Lebanon & in Syria, if attacked.

According to the report, a European official said that foreign officials had warned Hezbollah that Israel appeared prepared to deal heavy blows to the group in both Lebanon and Syria if the Jewish state was to come under attack.
