Following Thursday’s rocket fire from Syria, the U.S. State Department issued a travel warning for several parts of northern Israel, including what it called the “occupied” Golan Heights.

Israel took control of the Golan Heights from Syria during the Six-Day War in 1967. Israel annexed the Golan Heights in 1981, a move not recognized internationally.

U.S. State Dept.: United States won’t protect Jewish towns from BDS boycotts

White House takes issue with wording of recently passed Congressional trade legislation, stating the anti-BDS amendment “runs counter to long-standing U.S. policy” toward disputed territories claimed by the Palestinian Arabs.

By The Associated Press & Israel Hayom Staff

One day after U.S. President Barack Obama signed hard-fought trade legislation, his administration took issue with language meant to discourage boycotts of Israel.

The “fast-track” trade bill takes aim at boycott efforts against Israel. A bipartisan amendment — which drew comparatively little attention in Congress’ long, multifaceted trade debate — instructs U.S. negotiators to resist other countries’ actions that support the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement against Israel because of its policies in “Israeli-controlled territories.” Continue Reading »

According to Brigadier General Ya’akov Sharabani, the IAF’s Attaché in Washington, the agreement “is a significant milestone in the cooperation between the forces, realized for the first time as signed agreement.”

By YAAKOV LAPPI

Israel’s ongoing cooperation with diplomats involved in efforts to set up a regional dialogue over weapons of mass destruction helped it avoid a bad outcome during a UN conference last week, an arms control expert said on Monday.

Pulitzer-prize Winning WSJ Editor Counsels Israel to Ignore World after Obama’s Betrayals

Pulitzer-prize winning foreign-affairs columnist Bret Stephens tells Jerusalem to revive its past strategies, when Israel wasn’t afraid to go ‘rogue,’ because since Obama, the US isn’t the US anymore.

By Ari Yashar

In a Wall Street Journal op-ed, Pulitzer-prize winning journalist and deputy-editor of the paper Bret Stephens argued on Monday that due to US President Barack Obama’s irreversible actions, the US doesn’t have Israel’s back anymore – and Israel should learn to stand on its own.

Lee C. Bollinger, President of Columbia University (left), presents the 2013 Pulitzer Prize on Commentary to Bret Stephens of The Wall Street Journal.

A Succinct But Complete Chronology of Obama’s Anti-Israel Hatred

During Obama’s presidency, the US had supplied Israel more military aid than any previous administration, but, never has such support to a loyal ally been so diluted by constant political attacks, policy changes and public humiliations.

By Ben Shapiro

For some odd reason, many in the media and Congress reacted with surprise to Obama’s supposedly sudden turn on Israel. The media, in an attempt to defend Obama’s radicalism, pretend that Netanyahu’s comments in the late stages of his campaign prompted Obama’s anti-Israel action.

Ben Shapiro – YouTube Screenshot

But, in truth, this is the culmination of a longtime Obama policy of destroying the US-Israel relationship; Obama has spent his entire life surrounded by haters of Israel, from former Palestine Liberation Organization spokesman Rashid Khalidi to former Jimmy Carter National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, pro-Hamas negotiator Robert Malley to UN Ambassador Samantha Power (who once suggested using American troops to guard Palestinians from Israelis), Jeremiah Wright (who said “Them Jews ain’t going to let him talk to me”) to Professor Derrick Bell (“Jewish neoconservative racists…are undermining blacks in every way they can”).
