Isolated Abbas tells PLO, “fateful and dangerous decisions” are coming

As the Palestinians face massive cuts in US donations and political support by the EU is diminishing, the Palestinian autocrat remains intransigent, promising more uncompromising, “fateful and dangerous decisions on important issues in the next two months,” to the PLO Executive Committee in Ramallah.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said on Saturday that the Palestinians were planning to make “fateful and dangerous decisions on important issues in the next two months.”

Senior PLO official boasts: We torpedoed Trump’s peace “Deal of the century”

Senior PLO leader bloviated how a special committee empowered by PA autocrat Mahmoud Abbas voted last month to freeze the PLO’s recognition of Israel until a Palestinian state is established along the June 4th, 1967 borders, and having cut off dealings with the U.S., he proudly boasted they effectively blocked President Trump’s ‘Deal of the Century’.

Azzam al-Ahmad, a senior member of the Palestine Liberation Organization and a Palestinian Authority legislator claimed recently that the PA had successfully blocked a long-awaited Middle East peace deal floated by President Donald Trump’s administration.

The peace plan, dubbed by Trump the “Deal of the century”, was never publicly released, though envoys Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt discussed the key issues in the deal with both Israeli and Palestinian Authority officials during a series of visits to the region since Trump took office in January 2017. PLO official announces punitive steps to protest US embassy move to J’lem

To protest Trump’s relocation of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, a PLO official announced plans to prosecute Israelis at The Hague, to encourage attacks on Israeli civilians, and the opening of a PA municipality for the Arab neighborhoods of Jerusalem to undermine Jewish sovereignty.

Palestinian Authority leaders warned Tuesday they will organize mass protests and hold a “Day of Rage” next Monday in protest of the planned relocation of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem’s Arnona neighborhood.

Even Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s diplomatic friends condemned him.

Friends and foes alike blasted Abbas as an “antisemite” and a “Holocaust denier,” after he charged that the Nazis killed Jews in the Holocaust because they were money lenders.

US State Department decides to allow PLO DC office to remain open, but conditionally

With the Palestinians rescinding its directive to charge Israelis in the ICC, a US St. Dept. official relayed an updated decision allowing the PLO’s Washington DC office to remain open, but “within limitations.”

The administration of US President Donald Trump on Friday backtracked on its vow to close the Washington DC office of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), saying it could remain open “within limitations.”

A State Department official said the bureau is advised to “limit its activities to those related to achieving a lasting, comprehensive peace between the Israelis and Palestinians.”

In 1994 Clinton waived a law prohibiting the PLO from having a mission in Washington, contingent on the Palestinians not charging Israelis at the Int’l Criminal Court. PLO gorgon wants ICC investigate Israel on ‘Illegal Jewish Settlements’ policy
