Apprehended: 4 Arabs arrested in terror stone-throwing attack on 2 yr-old

 

Police arrest four Arabs in connection to stone throwing attack on passing car that left toddler with head wounds.

Police and Border Guard officers arrested four Arab youths, aged 15 to 20, in connection to the stone throwing incident Thursday that left 2-year-old Avigail Ben Zion moderately wounded.

According to security forces, after the incident the group fled the scenes and its members were arrested when they returned to their respective homes. Police said the incident was most likely nationalistically motivated. 

According to reports, the infant, Avigail, was hit with a stone that was thrown in the direction of the family car, as her mother, Shirin Ben Tzion, was driving in Jerusalem. Continue Reading »

Toddler Seriously Injured in Arab Rock-Throwing Ambush

A 2-year-old baby was hospitalized after suffering a serious head injury when the car she was in, was attacked in southern Jerusalem by Arabs throwing stones.

A two-year-old baby was seriously injured Thursday when Muslim terrorists hurled rocks at the car she was in, at the entrance to the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood in southern Jerusalem.

A Magen David Adom (MDA) team gave the baby initial medical care and took her to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital. She suffered a serious head injury.

Security forces are combing the area in search of the terrorists.

Israeli soldiers opened fire on Arab rioters north of Beit El on Saturday, wounding four of them, Palestinian Authority (PA) medical sources said.

The shooting happened near the Jalazoun neighborhood, the sources said. Beit El is located in the biblical heartland of Samaria, north of Jerusalem.

An Israeli military spokesman told AFP that troops fired rubber bullets at a group of around 150 Palestinians who were throwing stones at them, but were unable to determine how many demonstrators were wounded. Continue Reading »

21 Arabs Arrested for Rock Throwing & Firebomb Attacks in Latest IDF Crackdown

In attempt at secure streets against attacks on Jewish motorists, IDF operation lead to 21 arrests this past week for ‘road terror’ attacks.

The increasing frequency of rock and firebomb attacks targeting Israeli motorists in Judea and Samaria has led the IDF and police to crack down on “road terror.”

This week, 21 Palestinian Arab suspects were arrested on suspicion of throwing rocks or firebombs. Sixteen remain in custody following questioning, while five who were detained in the Binyamin region, north of Jerusalem, were later released.

A statement from the Israel Police said, “Police in the Judea and Samaria district, in cooperation with the IDF, will keep working to reduce rock attacks as much as possible.” Continue Reading »

Marking thirteen years to the second Palestinian uprising (intifada), Palestinian protesters clashed with Israeli security forces in the West Bank, in Jerusalem and on the Gaza Strip border.

Protesters hurled stones and burned tires in clashes across the West Bank.

In Hebron, some 300 protesters threw rocks at IDF soldiers, an IDF spokeswoman said.

Arab stone-throwers target police in Jerusalem’s Old City

 

 

On 13th anniversary of 2nd Intifada, Arab youth throw stones at policemen near the Rockefeller Museum & Damascus Gate.

Following Friday prayers, young Arabs threw stones at police forces near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem‘s Old City. One officer sustained light injuries to his hand. Border Guard officers dispersed the rioters with stun grenades, among other crowd dispersal means, and arrested four people.

A young Jewish couple from the town of Beit El, along with their four year-old son, narrowly escaped death after an Arab lynch mob attacked their car near Jerusalem’s A-Tur neighborhood.

Palestinian Arabs Attack a Police Patrol on Temple Mount

Two Israel policemen were slightly injured by Arabs throwing rocks at them.

Quiet has been restored by the security services and visits to the Temple Mount are continuing as usual.

The patrol was carried out on the basis of intelligence, according to which Arabs intend to throw rocks from one of the mosques. The patrol was then attacked in precisely that way, with rocks thrown from within a mosque.

Clashes erupted early Thursday between Palestinians and Israeli security forces at Joseph’s Tomb in the northern West Bank, as some 1,400 Jewish worshipers gathered for prayers at the holy site.

Thousands of people are expected to come to the ancient cemetery at the Mount of Olives in the days before Yom Kippur, to visit the graves of their loved ones and graves of “tzaddikim,” or wise and righteous people.

At least 15 Arab stone-throwers arrested as Palestinians & police clash on Temple Mount

Israel Police use stun grenades to disperse crowd of youths throwing stones at them.

Similar Arab violence took place only days earlier.

 

 

At least 15 arrests were made at the Temple Mount on Friday, as Palestinian youths and police clashed at the sacred site only days after similar clashes took place there.

The youths threw stones at the police officers, who were at Mughrabi Gate entrance to the site in the Old City of Jerusalem. Police entered the Temple Mount and used stun grenades to disperse the crowd. Continue Reading »

Palestinian NGO spokeswoman says injured by rubber bullet during protest

 

Sarit Michaeli from B’Tselem says her injury came from a Border Guard Police officer who fired a rubber bullet at her during the Nabi Salah protest.

B’Tselem spokeswoman Sarit Michaeli was injured Friday by a rubber bullet fired at her by Border Guard officers during a demonstration in Nabi Salah, according to her.

Michaeli, who had been documenting the protest, sustained light wounds to her thigh and was taken to the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv. She is due to be discharged on Monday.

Michaeli claims that the officers were acting against orders by firing at her during a weekly protest that often leads to clashes between Palestinians protesters and security forces. Continue Reading »

Military Police announced Tuesday the launching of an investigation into an incident in which IDF soldiers and Border Guard officers allegedly beat a Palestinian man during his arrest.

IDF Etzion Sector Commander Colonel Yaniv Alaluf held a meeting with residents of the settlement of Efrat, saying that a new road is to be built in Gush Etzion in an attempt to protect drivers from incidents of stone hurling.

The IDF is increasingly determined to stop Palestinian Authority-resident Arabs’ attacks on Israeli communities, and is willing to use live fire if necessary, says Yehuda Dana, security chief for the Beit El region.

Speaking to Arutz Sheva, Dana said there has been an escalation in Arab attacks on Israeli civilians in recent months. “Their brazenness has crossed the line – they are doing what they didn’t do for years, like reaching the fence of an Israeli community and throwing rocks into the community, causing injuries,” he related.
