Iran caught planning nuclear devise stronger than bomb used on Hiroshima

Leaked diagram obtained by the Associated Press shows Islamic Republic ran computer simulation for a weapon 3 times more powerful than that used during World War II.

 

 

A diagram obtained by The Associated Press shows that Iranian scientists have run computer simulations for a nuclear weapon that would produce more than triple the explosive force of the World War II bomb that destroyed Hiroshima.

Lebanon’s MPs: Nasrallah risking Lebanon’s safety & stability

Senior lawmakers in Beirut criticize Hezbollah leader’s recent threats to attack Israel, saying his remarks “do not serve stability and dialog.”

 

Days after Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah threatened to rain thousands of rockets on Israel “from the Lebanese border to Jordan to the Red Sea, from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat,” Lebanese lawmakers warned on Tuesday that the terror group chief’s remarks pose a threat to Lebanon’s stability.

MP Dory Chamoun, the leader of Lebanon’s center-right, mainly Christian National Liberal Party, told Lebanese daily Al-Joumhouria that by threatening to attack Israel in a speech in Beirut on Sunday, Nasrallah had “gone beyond all the norms and conventions that recognize the existence of an independent country called Lebanon, with a standing army and a multi-faceted population”.

PBS’ “Newshour,” with host Hari Sreenivasan, followed the direction of the majority of mainstream media programs last Thursday in presenting a wholly biased and inaccurate portrayal of the situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip following the end of Operation Pillar of Defense.

Egyptian Security seizes arms shipment en route to Hamas via northern Sinai

Palestinian, Ma’an news agency cites Egyptian security official saying that captured truck held Katyusha rockets and high-grade explosives.

 

Egyptian forces seized a truck carrying arms en route to the northern Sinai, a report by Palestinian news agency Ma’an said on Tuesday, adding that the vehicle carried Grad-type katyusha rockets as well as high-grade weapons.

Int’l team of Experts exhume Arafat, seeking evidence of murder

The hospital in Switzerland that carried out original examinations of Arafat’s clothing say results are expected in several months.

French magistrates opened a murder inquiry in August into Arafat’s death in Paris after a Swiss institute said it had discovered high levels of radioactive polonium on his clothing, which was supplied by his widow, Suha.

Soldiers killed a suspected Gaza terrorist early Monday after he broke into a Jewish home and stabbed a girl before fleeing.

The IDF discovered a hole in the nearby Gaza security fence, and footprints from the area matched the shoes of the intruder, who had escaped to the Moshav Sde Avraham’s greenhouses after he tried to kill the girl.

Following the success of Iron Dome in protecting the public from rocket attacks, Israel’s Missile Defense Organization and the U.S. Missile Defense Agency completed a successful test of the David’s Sling system (also known as Magic Wand) by intercepting a medium-range missile, the Defense Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

The David’s Sling anti-missile system fires its Stunner missile to intercept an incoming rocket.

The Islamist group Hamas said on Monday it was backing Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s attempt to win more clout for Palestinians at the United Nations, the latest sign of a rapprochement between the political rivals.

The Palestinians are registered as an observer entity at the UN and Abbas wants to see them upgraded to a “non-member state” in a UN General Assembly vote on November 29, giving him access to other international organizations.
