Does anybody remember Muhammad Al-Dura? He was the 12-year-old boy from Gaza who was allegedly killed by IDF fire during the Second Intifada as he crouched behind his father, Jamal, crying. He became the most potent symbol of the Palestinian struggle. His name can still be heard around the world even to this day.

Israeli civilians suffer long after Palestinian Authority Arabs clash with the IDF.

By Maayana Miskin

Israeli civilians are suffering the consequences of Palestinian Authority riots, according to a recent flood of reports to Arutz Sheva.

PA residents regularly clash with IDF soldiers at certain points in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) on Friday and Saturday, particularly near the separation barrier.

The protests are often held near Israeli communities – and according to many Israelis, the effects can be felt for hours in their towns. Soldiers often use tear gas to disperse protests, and the gas is carried on the wind to nearby civilian areas. Continue Reading »

Lapid now knows where the money is & needs to plug the hole

PM Benjamin Netanyahu is giving Finance Minister Lapid his full support even if some of Lapid’s own party supporters are not.

Histadrut Chairman Ofer Eini is pleased, although, ‘Ricky Cohen from Hadera’ now has to deal with harsh austerity measures, i.e. higher taxes.

By Mati Tuchfeld

It is okay to say that Finance Minister Yair Lapid has good intentions. More than a year has passed since he quit his job as the anchorman of the Channel 2 news magazine and began traveling the country from end to end, carrying the flag of the middle class, vowing to do everything to protect the middle class, and criticizing all those “old politicians” that turned the middle class into the country’s “ATM,” as he said in one of his campaign speeches.

Visiting Eritrean activist says Sinai border fence and the threat of detention has deterred potential migrants from coming to Israel.

There is a diminished desire among Eritrean asylum-seekers to migrate to Israel, largely due to the new border fence with Egypt and the threat of incarceration under the “Infiltrators Law,” a visiting Eritrean dissident activist said in Tel Aviv on Friday.

The number of IDF soldiers injured by rocks throwers soar, as they are not allowed to open fire.

By Gil Ronen

A report by a political activist and reservist combat soldier claims the IDF has effectively capitulated in the face of Arab rock and firebomb attacks.

Writing in the web magazine Mida, Erez Tadmor says that in the past week, since the grave injury of Yaakov Zlatkin at the hands of an Arab mob, he has spoken with dozens of officers and soldiers who all said the same thing: The health and security of Jews who live in Judea and Samaria, as well as those of the soldiers who are supposed to guard them, have been left to the mercy of the enemy. An Open Letter to the Arab League by Mordechai Kedar

Peace with you will come only after we see that you really want peace. As long as you encourage and arm terror organizations who act against us, incite against us in your media, erase the state of Israel from the geography books in your schools and act against us in international arenas, why should we believe that you indeed want peace?

by Mordechai Kedar

To the Honorable Leaders of the Arab States,

We in Israel received with great pleasure your agreement to normalize relations with Israel  on condition that we agree to the establishment of a Palestinian state and exchanges of territories between that state and Israel. Continue Reading »

Unseen, the IDF’s cyber warfare capabilities have become a key to battlefield victory, not only against enemy armies, but increasingly against terrorist organizations, such as Hamas & Hezbollah.

These days, the idea of Israel engaging its enemies in a war, whether in near or distant arenas, without its “silent attack force” is unthinkable.
