Since the new joint project between Israel’s Crossing Authority, Shin Bet & Israel Police, the lab has identified substances which could be weaponized, literally preventing tons of explosive materials from reaching the Palestinian terror organizations in Gaza.

An attempt to smuggle tons of explosive material into the Gaza Strip has been thwarted by the Israeli Ministry of Defense’s Crossing Authority, it was announced on Wednesday.

The attempt was foiled thanks to a new, advanced chemistry laboratory that was set up in recent weeks at Israel’s Kerem Shalom crossing with Gaza.

Despot Abbas tells Palestinian Authority to freeze all meetings with US

Palestinian officials suspend all meetings with US officials after State Department says law dictates closure of PLO office in Washington DC over Palestinian violation of agreements.

Palestinian Authority officials announced Tuesday they had suspended meetings with the US following a quarrel with President Donald Trump’s administration over the future of their representative office in Washington.

The announcement came on the same day the leading Palestinian Arab political factions began talks in Cairo aimed at pushing ahead with reconciliation efforts.

The United Nations is expected to announce Monday that Israel will head efforts to assist agriculture worldwide through the analysis of satellite images derived from its Venus satellite.

The Venus vegetation and environment monitoring microsatellite, launched into space in late July, was developed by Israel Aerospace Industries in collaboration with the French space agency CNES.

Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense Systems produced the satellite’s innovative electric propulsion system, and defense electronics contractor Elbit Systems provided advanced high-resolution cameras that will enable the satellite to better monitor the earth’s vegetation and any changes on the ground. An IDF tank fired another warning shot on a Syrian military position Sunday evening in the northern Golan Heights, a day after another tank opened fire near the Druze village of Hader in Syria as Israel discovered the Syrian army was conducting construction along their border.

An Israeli judge has ordered the Palestinian Authority and perpetrators of a deadly 2001 attack to pay $18 million in damages to relatives of those killed, the court said Sunday.

US to vote ‘NO’ on UN General Assembly resolution banning the glorification of Nazism
