Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas addressed the UN Human Rights Council on Wednesday, saying that Israel’s actions against the Palestinian people have led to the current “explosion” of violence by Palestinian youth and that the time has come for the international community to move from words to actions to stop Israel’s violations of international law.

Jordanians angry Palestinian Authority rejected installing CCTV on Temple Mount

Jordanians on Tuesday criticized the Palestinian Authority for rejecting the idea of installing security cameras at the Temple Mount.

The Jordanians noted that the idea of installing the cameras was aimed at “protecting the al Aksa Mosque by documenting what’s happening at the site.”

PA officials have over the past few days dismissed the idea, arguing that Israel would use the cameras to arrest Palestinians “under the pretext of incitement.” Continue Reading »

Israel Customs At Airport Shocked to Find Corpse in Unclaimed Package

Customs workers at Ben-Gurion Airport were astounded to open an unclaimed package there on Tuesday and find a woman’s corpse inside.

Foreign Minister spokesman Alon Lavi said that the package arrived Tuesday morning on an Aeroflot flight from Russia. Walmart, the top US supermarket chain, stirred controversy by offering a child’s Halloween costume of Israel Defense Forces soldier amid a flare-up in Israeli-Palestinian violence.

The olive green costume includes a shirt, featuring Hebrew insignia, as well as trousers and a red beret appearing to resemble those worn by enlisted soldiers of the Israeli military.

Israel Police: Jordanian Waqf attempts to install CCTV without coordination is provocation

Israeli authorities on Monday prevented the Islamic Waqf in Jerusalem from installing security cameras in the Temple Mount compound. A senior source said the move constituted provocation and stressed that security cameras will be set up around the holy site only after the move was coordinated with Israel.

Jerusalem District Court Rejects Islamic Movement Leader Raed Salah’s Appeal

 

The verdict sends Raed Salah, the leader of the extremist Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement, to begin 11 months incarceration for incitement in a speech given in 2007.

 

Raed Salah, the leader of the extremist Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement, had his appeal rejected in the Jerusalem District Court on Tuesday and will have to serve the 11-month sentence he received in March for incitement in a speech he gave in 2007.

Despite that academic boycotts do nothing to advance peace or improve the lives of Palestinians, and numerous  institutions are already reversing this anti-Israel trend, these UK professors prefer the publicity than seeking solutions through dialogue.

Israel Air Force Retaliates Striking 2 Gaza Targets After Rocket Attack on Israel

The IAF struck two Hamas targets in southern Gaza a few hours after a rocket attack on southern Israel. The IDF Spokesman Unit said that it viewed Hamas as being responsible for all terrorist activities in the Strip.

Gaza Fires Rocket at Israel

A rocket exploded in an open area of the Gaza border region in the South Monday evening.

IDF units are searching the area for the projectile. There were no injuries in the attack. Rocket sirens sounded in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council in the area before the rocket fell.

Earlier, citizens in the area reported hearing an explosion.

It’s about fu**ing time: Facebook removes Hamas news page

 

Israeli students sent reports to Facebook complaining against the Shehab News Agency page, with its 2.7 million likes, which shares Hamas’ ideology, posting nonstop anti-Semitic and inciting content depicted in cartoons containing graphic violence.

Facebook removed on Tuesday the page of Hamas’ news agency Shehab, after Israeli students who are a part of a program to fight anti-Semitism reported the page. 

The students received a message from Facebook saying the page, one of the more popular Facebook pages in the Arab world with 2.7 million likes, has been removed because it was found to be containing graphic violence, which violates Facebook’s terms of use.  Continue Reading »

REPORT: IDF Enter Syria Briefly To Return Defector

 

IDF units reportedly ordered into Syria Saturday to recover paraglider after crossing over border in order to join ISIS-affiliated terror group.

Unconfirmed reports suggest Israeli ground forces briefly entered Syria on Saturday evening after an Israeli man paraglided across the border.

It was initially feared that the paragliding Israeli unintentionally drifted into war-torn Syria and would there be abducted by one of various terrorist militias. The northern Golan Heights region is popular with Israeli paragliders.
