Attack from Gaza comes day after Israel treated Hamas PM’s granddaughter in Israeli hospital.
A mortar shell fired into southern Israel from the Gaza Strip landed in the Eshkol Regional Council area on Tuesday morning.
No injuries or damage were reported in the attack.
IDF soldiers were operating in the area where the mortar shell landed near the Gaza border fence.

Around 1:00 a.m., four rockets were fired towards the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. One of them may have been intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system, and the other three exploded in open areas. There were no physical injuries or damages.
