Report: Dozens of Hezbollah soldiers killed ‘accidentally’ in chemical attack

 

The world ignores another horrendous attack by Assad using “unconventional” weapons, while diplomats and analysts focus on the lack of coordination between Assad’s troops & supporting forces which caused Putin to announce the withdrawal of Russian ground troops from Syria.

Dozens of members of Hezbollah were killed last week in Aleppo in an “accidental” chemical attack carried out by the Syrian military, diplomatic sources reported to the Kuwaiti newspaper “Al-Jarida.”

The report stated that Syrian fighter jets struck militants from the Shi’ite terror group when they mistakenly attacked the town of Al-Eis, south of Aleppo, in their efforts to retake the region. Continue Reading »

Arab League: Hezbollah blacklisted as terrorist organization 

 

Days after Gulf nations deem Iran-backed group as terrorist organization, Arab League follows suit, with only Iraq and Lebanon expressing ‘reservations’.

Arab League foreign ministers on Friday declared Lebanon’s Shi’ite movement Hezbollah a “terrorist” group, after Sunni-dominated Gulf monarchies adopted the same stance.

Nearly all members of the pan-Arab body supported the decision, but not Lebanon and Iraq which expressed “reservations”, the bloc said in a statement read out at a news conference by Bahraini diplomat Wahid Mubarak Sayar.

Using radar technology it has acquired since Russia’s entry into the Syrian civil war, Hezbollah has started using sophisticated radars to “lock on” to Israeli spy jets on reconnaissance flights over its northern neighbor.

DEA bust Hezbollah network using drug money to acquire Syrian weapons

 

One of those arrested & taken into custody by the DEA is a Lebanese money launderer for Hezbollah’s financial arm, and the US Treasury added two Lebanese men to its sanctions blacklist, saying they also laundered money for the Shiite terrorist organization.

IDF artillery pounds Lebanon after Hezbollah explodes bomb on border with Israel

 

Hezbollah quickly claimed responsibility for activating explosive device near the Chebaa Farms in revenge for the death of Samir Kuntar, with Lebanese security forces reporting at least 50 Israeli shells hitting villages in the area.

Arab Media: Israel Air Force destroys 7 Hezbollah weapons caches on Syria-Lebanon border

 

Hezbollah denies Lebanese & Syrian media reports that the Israeli Air Force struck multiple Hezbollah positions north of the Qalamoun Mountains on the Syria-Lebanon border Saturday night.

REPORT: European Diplomats urge Hezbollah to reconsider attacking Israel in revenge for Kuntar

 

The report alleges European officials warned Lebanon’s Shiite Islamic group of Israel’s intent to respond heavily on Hezbollah, in Lebanon & in Syria, if attacked.

According to the report, a European official said that foreign officials had warned Hezbollah that Israel appeared prepared to deal heavy blows to the group in both Lebanon and Syria if the Jewish state was to come under attack.

Analyst: Russia knew in advance of Kuntar airstrike inside Syria

Israel notified Russia that it intends to strike a target inside Damascus before the airstrike that killed Samir Kuntar, estimates Dr. Aaron Lerner, of Independent Media Review Analysis (IMRA).

Lerner bases this conclusion on the fact that the strike took place at a time that the Russian S-400 system is in full operation.

IDF artillery battery hits targets in Lebanon in response to earlier Katyusha rocket fire on Israel
