Hezbollah fires 3 rockets in Israel’s Galilee in retaliation for alleged IAF airstrike in Syria

 

Shortly after activation of ‘Color Red’ warning sirens, residents in the Western Galilee, Nahariya & other towns & villages along the border, heard sounds of distant explosions.

At least three rockets struck northern Israel Sunday evening after an incoming rocket siren were activated.

There were no reports of any damage or injuries.

Arab media reports on Saturday night claimed that Israeli rocket fire destroyed a building in the Jaramana district of Damascus.

According to Russia Today, Hezbollah-linked terrorist Samir Kuntar was the target of the strike and was reportedly killed.

Images from the scene show a collapsed multi-story residential building, with lots of rubble on the ground. Vehicles parked nearby appear to have been completely destroyed, the Russian news agency reported.

US Congress votes unanimously to impose sanctions on banks financing Hezbollah

 

The US House Representatives adopted Bill targeting the Lebanon-based Shiite movement in a vote of 422 to 0, following a unanimous vote in the Senate on November 17.

The US House of Representatives voted unanimously Wednesday to impose tough new sanctions on banks that knowingly do business with the Lebanon-based Shiite movement Hezbollah.

The bill targeting the Iran-backed Hezbollah, which is considered a terrorist organization by Washington, passed the Senate last month. It now goes to the White House for President Barack Obama’s signature.

The legislation also targets Hezbollah’s television channel Al-Manar by aiming to cut the broadcast of satellite operators that air the channel’s programming. Continue Reading »

Lebanese Report: Israel Air Force Kills Hezbollah terrorists in Syrian strike near Lebanese border

 

A Lebanese media outlet reported that there were dead & wounded Hezbollah fighters in the attack, a target hit in the past that serves as a major transit point for Hezbollah fighters and equipment.

Two explosions in a predominantly Shi’ite area of southern Beirut have killed at least 41 people, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry as cited by Al Jazeera. At least 200 are said to be injured.
