2 IDF Soldiers Injured In Golan Heights From Syrian Mortar Fire

2 Israeli soldiers were wounded from a mortar shell that fell next to them, on the northern Golan Heights.

Two Israeli soldiers were slightly wounded by cross-border fire in the Golan Heights facing Syria.

A mortar shell exploded in the northern Golan Heights. It is not known whether the attack was spillover from the ongoing Syrian civil war or intentional.

According to preliminary reports, one of the soldiers was injured from shrapnel fragments and the other had suffered from shock as a result from the fall.

Both soldiers were initially treated for their moderate wounds at the scene by Magen David Adom medics, however, the pair will receive further treatment at a nearby hospital. Continue Reading »

The terror suspect, who is in custody, told security forces he led the soldier, with whom he worked together in a restaurant in Bat Yam, to the West Bank, where he committed the murder.

The Israel Defense Forces has launched an investigation after Israeli soldiers from the elite Givati Brigade were captured on camera dancing with young Palestinians at a club in the Jabara neighborhood of Hebron, Channel 2 reported Wednesday.

A student in a yeshivat hesder program, which combines military service with Torah learning, was tried and sentenced to 20 days in prison after he asked for a ride contrary to IDF orders which prohibits hitchhiking.

IDF Soldier hospitalized in serious condition after collapsing during training

 

American born Nachal soldier, 20, who made aliyah to enlist in IDF admitted to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center ICU after collapsing during running exercise.

A 20-year-old IDF soldier collapsed during training at a base in central Israel on Sunday. He was rushed to the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in very serious condition.

Following a Monday incident in which a Hummer driver sustained light injuries as the Hummer she was driving overturned, anonymous sources told Ynet that the driver was behind the wheel for a longer period of time than IDF protocol permits. The IDF said an investigation into the circumstances was launched.
