Gaza Ruling Hamas Gov’t is Quick to Deny Responsibility for Rocket Attack on Israel

Israel TV10 Reports: Hamas official signals to Israel that it is not responsible for Thursday night rocket attack on southern Israel. – Israeli security officials not buying it.

Hamas has signaled to Israel that it is not responsible for Thursday evening’s rocket attack on southern Israel and that it is working to find and arrest the shooters, Channel 10 News reports.

A senior security official said, however, that Israel views Hamas as being responsible for the attack.

Lebanon Fires Two Katyusha Rockets at Israel’s Western Galilee

Code Red rocket-warning sirens blare in the Western Galilee towns of Shlomi and Nahariya.

IDF returns fires at the rocket launch sites in Lebanon with artillery fire.

 

The IDF confirmed that two rockets were fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel and landed in open areas north of Nahariya on Saturday night. Rocket alert sirens sounded in the area of the attack in Nahariya and Shlomi.

Gaza Rocket Hits Home in Be’er Sheva, Elderly Woman Injured

Rocket fired from Gaza gets by Iron Dome to hit a home in Be’er Sheva, injuring a woman & causing extensive damage to the building.

A rocket fired from Gaza hit a home in the southern Israeli city of Be’er Sheva on Friday evening.

A woman in her 80s suffered mild injuries and was taken to the Soroka Hospital for treatment. Extensive damage was caused to the building.

A salvo of rockets hit southern Israel earlier on Friday evening, with at least five rockets fired towards Ashdod.

Lebanese Report: Man arrested in connection to earlier rocket fired at Israel

Lebanese media says military personal recovered additional rockets at launching site, prepared by unknown militant group, assumed to also be fired toward Israel.

Lebanese Group Fires Katyusha Rocket at Upper Galilee

IDF returns fire from area where small radical organization, not Hezbollah, fired single rocket from Lebanon, senior army source says.

 

 

One rocket was fired from Lebanon on Friday morning on a village in the Upper Galilee. There were no injuries in the attack.

“We are prepared to widen our operation in Gaza, should the need arise,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday following multiple rocket salvos from Gaza into Israel over the weekend.

Sinai Salafists Responsible for Yesterday’s Rocket Attack on Eilat

The Sinai-based jihadi group, Ansar Bayt al-Makdis, declares that ‘the Jews will only see injury from us.’

The Long War Journal reports Tuesday that a Sinai-based Salafist group has claimed responsibility for Monday’s rocket fire on Eilat.

The jihadist group, named Ansar Jerusalem or Ansar Bayt al Makdis, posted on Gaza based social media a statement boasting the attack.

“Our war with the enemy in Egypt has not dissuaded us from the war against the first enemy of our nation,” the statement claims. “With Allah’s help, the Jews will only see injury from us.”

Lebanese authorities arrested two suspects for involvement in rocket attacks from the country’s territory into northern Israel earlier this month, The Daily Star reported on Saturday.

According to the report, the Lebanese Armed Forces stated that the suspects, Youssef Muhammad Fliti and Omar Abdel-Mawla al-Atrash, confessed to supplying the four rockets used in the attacks.

The suspects said that they transferred the rockets to a man in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.

Rocket fired by Sinai terrorists at Eilat intercepted by Iron Dome

 

Siren activated then blasts heard around the southern city.

Rocket attack comes just days after alleged Israeli drone successfully killed Al-Qaida-affiliated terrorists in the Sinai.

 

 

 

Terrorists fired a rocket at Eilat shortly before 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning, triggering an air raid siren and activating the Iron Dome anti-rocket battery, which is stationed at the Red Sea city.

The Iron Dome system intercepted at least one rocket, according to initial IDF assessments.

It is unknown at this stage whether additional rockets fell in open areas outside of the city.
