Israel urges Arab League to admit Jewish ethnic cleansing

 

MK Shimon Ohayon says Arab leaders must own up to their countries role in its ethnic cleansing of their Jewish population from Middle East and North African countries.

On the United Nations World Refugee Day, MK Shimon Ohayon (Likud Beytenu) called on the Arab League to “own up to its role in the ethnic cleansing of the Jewish population from most of the Middle East and North Africa.”

“The Jews of Arab countries, starting in 1947, were used as weapons by the Arab League against the establishment of the Jewish State,” MK Ohayon said in a statement, adding a targeted accusation at the Arab League who “drafted laws for its member states to withdraw civil and human rights from its Jewish inhabitants.”

The artificial sweetener “mannitol” may prevent the collection of toxins in the brain, and could ultimately lead to a new treatment for Parkinson’s disease, according to new research at Tel Aviv University.

Professors Ehud Gazit and Daniel Segal, both at the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology and the Sagol School of Neuroscience, published their findings together with colleague Dr. Ronit Shaltiel Karyo and PhD Candidate Moran Frenkel-Pinter, in the Journal of Biological Chemistry. Once again, Israeli & Palestinian medics arrive at the scene of an accident where they work together with only one thing on their minds, to save lives.

Yesterday, a young Palestinian man was struck by a car while riding his donkey in the village of Huwwara, near Nablus. To save his life, IDF paramedics and Magen David Adom – an Israeli civilian volunteer organization – joined together with the Palestinian police and the Red Crescent.

Israeli & Jordanian students learn Medicine to save lives together

After 3 years of studies, joint Jordanian & Israeli emergency medical program at the Ben Gurion University, graduates their first class of  paramedics, in the hope it will increase Israel-Arab cooperation in natural disasters or other regional emergencies.

Ben Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) graduated its first class of Jordanian and Israeli students who completed a special joint-emergency medicine BA program earlier this year. The first graduating class at the Israel-Jordan Academic Emergency Medicine Collaboration included 54 graduates who spent three years studying emergency medicine and medical response.

JERUSALEM — Pet Shop Boys singer Neil Tennant defended his band’s decision to play Israel amid pressure to cancel the June 23 concert.

Pet Shop BoysA statement by Tennant was posted on the British duo’s official website Sunday following the release of a poster showing them wearing sunglasses stamped with the captions “1 child killed every three days” and “2 kids caged every day.”

The poster was created by the Britain-based pro-Palestinian group Innovative Minds.

Tennant wrote, “I don’t agree with this comparison of Israel to apartheid-era South Africa.

According to Uwe Neumaerker, director of the memorial, Michelle Obama and her daughters spent about half-an-hour Wednesday morning visiting the sea of 2711 steles that make up the memorial, which was designed by American-Jewish architect Peter Eisenman and opened to the public in May 2005, on the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Gaza rocket falls short and lands in Palestinian territory

A rocket fired by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza early Wednesday morning landed in Palestinian territory. A siren was heard in Ashkelon and the surrounding area at around 5:40 am.
