European Broadcasting Union bans Palestine, ISIS flags from Eurovision song contest

 

The venue hosting the contest published the European Broadcasting Union’s guidelines on spectator conduct which includes a ban displaying Palestinian, ISIS flags.

ISIS Attacks on Vatican & Israeli Embassy in Rome Foiled by Italian Security Forces

 

Italian authorities successfully thwarted an ISIS attack on the Israeli Embassy in Rome & the Vatican, but 2 members of the cell have left Italy & entered ISIS controlled territory.

Arrest warrants were issued for six people affiliated with ISIS on Thursday evening, four of which planned to attack the Israeli Embassy in Rome and the Vatican.

UK Labour party head supports ‘charity’ that indoctrinates 7 yr-old Palestinians to kill Jews

An horrific children’s play in which a seven-year-old Palestinian girl “stabbed Jews” took place at a recent event partly funded by Interpal, a UK charity supported by Labour party head Jeremy Corbyn and MPs of his party, reports the UK Daily Mail on Thursday.

83 Senators Send Obama Letter to Enrich ‘Support & Help Israel Defend Itself’

 

In an initiative led by Rep. Lindsey Graham & Dem. Chris Coons, 83 signatories (of 100) that did not include Sen Bernie Sanders, called upon Obama to ‘support & help provide Israel the resources it requires to defend itself.’

First U.S. Army test with Israel’s Iron Dome against drones, successful 

 

For the first time on American soil, the US Army successfully used Israel’s Rafael made Iron Dome to shoot down a targeted drone.

The US Army this week carried out a first successful trial of an interceptor air defense missile, made by Israeli defense company Rafael.

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems said the US Army fired the Tamir interceptor – which is used by Iron Dome batteries in Israel to shoot down Gazan rockets – at a target drone.

“This is the first time that a trial of the Iron Dome interceptor against a drone target was held on US soil,” the company stated.

Knesset to facilitate ‘returning’ Sephardic Jews forcibly converted to Christianity

 

MKs launched a new Knesset lobby to assist the increasing numbers of descendants of Jews around the world who have become interested in exploring their heritage, & reconnecting to their Jewish faith.

A new Knesset lobby intended to push for greater outreach toward the descendants of Spanish and Portuguese Jews forcibly converted to Christianity, known in Hebrew as B’nai Anusim, was launched on Tuesday.

In a letter read to the lobby’s inaugural gathering, President Reuven Rivlin stated that while in “Spain precious communities were forced leave their faith, their life and the values they grew up and raised their families” five hundred years ago, “Spanish Jews are still with us, and we must not forget them.”

Bernie Sanders claims IDF was too indiscriminate, killing ‘10,000 innocents’ in Gaza

 

Apart from the IDF having the lowest combatant-to-civilian casualty ratio of any conflict ever recorded, democratic presidential candidate Sanders is of the opinion “Israel’s force was more indiscriminate than it should have been,” having killed “over 10,000 innocent people,” when in fact it was around a fifth of what Sanders suggested.

(JTA) A French appeals court upheld the hate-crime convictions of activists who called for a boycott of Israel at a demonstration.

The ruling delivered last week by the French Cassation Court concerned seven activists whom a criminal appeals court in Caen in southern France slapped with a $1,000 fine each and a conviction for calling for discriminatory acts during the 2010 demonstration outside a supermarket that sold Israeli goods.

UK finally ends funding NGO for inciting to hatred & violence against Jews

 

After the Telegraph released secret recordings of the Pro-Palestine ‘War on Want’ activities of promoting an academic boycott of Israel (since 2003) and its funding Apartheid Week on various UK university campuses, the British gov’t ended its funding.

The British government ended its support for the NGO War on Want, founded in 1951, and initially focused on fighting poverty around the world, for inciting to hatred and violence against Jews.

In Belgium, a Muslim man disrupted a memorial for the victims of last week’s massacre in Brussels Sunday, but he was promptly knocked down by a local man, and led away by police. The incident was captured on a Facebook video embedded above.
