Obama paid J-Street $576,000 to promote Iran deal when White House jive contradicted professional opinions

 

Reports now prove J-Street, not the true advocate for Israel it purports to be, received $576,000 from President Obama to deceive the American Jews, and advocate for Iran in the nuclear deal, in spite of the actual danger the deal proved to imperil Israel.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump leads Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup, according to a new Fox News poll published on Wednesday.

The poll found that Trump holds a 45%-42% edge over Clinton. A month ago, Clinton held a 48%-41%.

Belgian Animal Welfare Minister Calls For Complete Ban on Ritual Slaughter

Belgian cabinet minister and animal welfare minister Ben Weyts on Tuesday called for a complete ban on the ritual slaughter of animals.

The decision will have a huge impact on the Muslim and Orthodox Jewish communities, for whom shechita (ritual slaughter) is an integral component of religious life.

Weyts, who is a member of the ruling center-right party New Flemish Alliance, cited resistance by Muslims to a compromise on ritual slaughter of animals: “Organizations within the Muslim community are just not open to any sort of compromise,” he said. Continue Reading »

Texas Governor to ignore Iran nuclear deal & maintain sanction

 

Texas’ Governor Abbott formally responded on Monday to President Obama’s April 8th letter, stating that “Texas will maintain its sanctions against Iran.”

New York – Texas will not lift its sanctions on Iran and will take no part in the Obama administration’s nuclear deal with the Islamic republic, which has made the world a “more dangerous and compromised” place, Texas Governor Greg Abbott told Jewish media at a special meeting in New York on Monday afternoon.

While the American public are more sympathetic to Israel with 54% to 19% for the Palestinians, Clinton supporters are more likely to sympathize with Israel 47% to 27% for the Palestinians.

Israeli teens take 2nd place at international high school robotics competition

An Israeli high school team from Binyamina, near Haifa, came in second at the prestigious FIRST Robotics Competition in St. Louis, Missouri, held April 27-30.
