Car Terror: Four Policemen Struck in Third Attack in 24 Hrs

An Arab driver jumps curb to run down 4 police officers, one, a policewoman, is moderately injured.
• Earlier, Arab Stabbers shot dead, one in Hevron, the other in Jerusalem.

In what appears to be the third terror attack against Jews in about 24 hours, an Arab driver plowed down four people Saturday evening on the Kohanim Route in eastern Jerusalem.

MDA medics gave the four initial care and were evacuating them to Shaarei Tzedek hospital. One of the four, reportedly a Border Policewoman, is moderately injured, with wounds to the pelvis and extremities. Continue Reading »

Israel’s Police chief: Arab driver deliberately drove over Israeli Jews

Police chief Danino reports their investigation concluded Palestinian committed a ‘horrible attack’ which took the life of Cherki and seriously injured Klein.

A Palestinian driver deliberately rammed his car into a Jerusalem bus stop this week and killed an Israeli man in a “horrible attack”, police chief Yohanan Danino said on Saturday.

“Today we can say that it is a horrible attack,” Danino said in a statement after an investigation into Wednesday’s incident. He ruled out initial suggestions that it had been an accident.

MAGAV’s diligent security patrol defuse discovered bomb near Hebron’s Cave of the Patriarchs

Jailed: 3 Arabs Planned Massacre Disguised as Orthodox Jews

The Jerusalem District Court convicted three Arab residents of Jerusalem of conspiring to carry out a terror attack Tuesday, after they were found to have planned an attack on a wedding hall in the Bayit Vegan neighborhood.

The three, named as Anas Awisat, Basel Abidat and Ahmed Sorour, were arrested last month following a joint operation by the Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet) and the Israel police.

According to Channel 10, the three had been planning on dressing up as hareidi Jews before entering the hall, disguised as guests, and then shooting everyone inside.

The Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet) on Saturday night lifted a gag order on the arrest of the terrorists who committed the firebomb attack in Ma’ale Shomron in Samaria last Thursday, in which 11-year-old Ayala Shapira was critically wounded and her father Avner lightly wounded as their car went up in flames.

Several hours after the attack, roughly a dozen young Arab suspects from the nearby town of Kfar Azoun were arrested, according to the ISA report.

Security forces believe they have apprehended the terrorists responsible for Thursday night’s firebomb attack, which left a young girl in critical condition.

firebomb JPEGSpeaking to 11 year-old Ayala Shapira’s mother on Friday, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon revealed that it appeared the attacker had been apprehended. His identity has not yet been released.

IDF forces quickly deployed in a massive operation to track down the terrorist responsible for the attack, which also left father Avner lightly injured.

Arab Bank: Lack of proof Hamas funds went to terrorists

Hamas official tells umbrella Hamas-funding group they are ‘room full of terrorists’.

A plaintiffs’ lawyer said the bank required “all their employees to donate 5% of their salaries” to the intifada.

In one of the dramatic key moments of the historic Arab Bank terror finance trial, the plaintiffs on Tuesday showed a video in which a top Hamas official told a conference of the “Union of Good” umbrella Hamas-funding group that they are a room full of terrorists.

Police and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) have arrested a taxi driver, 38, from the Arab town of Shefar’am, on suspicion that he carried out the murder for “nationalistic” reasons.

The suspect, named as Hassin Yousef Hassin Khalifah, admitted under police interrogation to committing the murder, and even reconstructed the crime for police. Continue Reading »

Israel’s Prime Minister Awards Medals to Tapuah Junction Heroes

P.M. Netanyahu presented medals to Magav policemen & soldiers who bravely prevented a major terror attack last week in Samaria.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday presented a medal of honor to four IDF border guards and three IDF soldiers for their actions in preventing a major terror attack at the Tapuah junction last week. The ceremony took place in the Jerusalem Border Guard base in the presence of Amos Yaakov, head of the Border Guard Units, and Public Security Minister Yitzchak Aharonovich.

A terrorist opened fire on Monday night towards Border Police soldiers who were stationed at the Tapuach Junction in Samaria, near the city of Ariel.

A video uploaded Wednesday shows a frenzied Arab mob targeting cars driven by Jews as they pass near Jerusalem’s Damascus (Shechem) Gate.

The video was uploaded to the “Free Qudss” account on YouTube, and to a group by a similar name on Facebook.

The text at the start of the video reads: “Destroying the settlers cars and arrests”, and claims to have been taken near Damascus Gate.

The account’s operators and the videographers claim the events are from Tuesday evening, and that the identities of the attackers had been blurred out to protect them from being identified. Continue Reading »
