An Israeli soldier was suspended on Thursday after a video emerged showing him shooting an attacker who had moderately wounded a soldier in Hebron, Israeli news site Ynet reported.


The soldier is seen shooting the assailant in the head as he lay on the ground, apparently incapable of moving and possibly already dead.

After the soldier fires, blood is seen flowing from the man’s head where it was not seen before.

“From an initial investigation, it appears that this was a serious incident that is contrary to the spirit of the IDF and what we expect of IDF soldiers and commanders,” said the Israeli military, adding that military police were opening an investigation and that the soldier had been suspended until a probe was completed. In wake of last 3 attacks Israel to implement new anti-terror measures

 

During a consultation at the Prime Minister’s Office, Israeli official decided to close breaches in security fence separating Israel from the Palestinian Authority, take harsher measures against Israeli employers of illegal aliens, and closing down inciting PA media.

A Jewish man was stabbed by an Arab terrorist in Petah Tikvah on Tuesday afternoon, but succeeded in fighting back and killing his attacker.

The incident occurred along the central Israeli city’s Habaron Hirsch Street; the stab victim was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in moderate condition.

A spate of attempted stabbing attacks were thwarted by alert IDF soldiers Sunday morning.

The first attack occurred early Sunday morning, when a knife-wielding female teenage terrorist was arrested after an attempted terror attack at the Tapuach Junction checkpoint.

After viewing incitement videos online, two young Arab teens went to buy knives, prayed at Al-Aqsa, then set out to become Palestinian terrorists who murder Jews to become “martyrs.”

The Jerusalem District Attorney submitted indictment letters to the Jerusalem District Court on Wednesday against two Arab teenagers, who are accused of attempting to carry out a murderous knife attack against Jews. They are indicted on two counts, one of attempted murder and a second for possession of a knife.

According to the indictment letter the two teens watched a series of inciting videos on the internet which negatively portrayed Israeli authorities in Jerusalem and aired libels as to how soldiers “search” Palestinian women, following which they decided to carry out an attack to murder Jews and become “martyrs.” Continue Reading »

A knife-wielding 13-year-old Palestinian girl was shot dead on Saturday morning after she tried to stab a security guard at the entrance to the community of Anatot, northeast of Jerusalem.

According to Palestinian media reports, the girl was originally from the village of Yatta in the Hebron region but had recently moved with her family to the village of Anata, which is located near Anatot.

A suspected terrorist was shot and killed by Israeli security forces Thursday morning after attempting to stab a soldier at the Beit Einoun junction located close to the Kiryat Arba settlement and the West Bank city of Hebron.

Three terrorists were shot by security forces who quickly responded to the threat, with two of the terrorists and the third being wounded.

The terrorists tried to stab reserve soldiers who were securing the junction, according to an IDF statement.

Palestinian knife attacks prompt IDF to supply soldiers protective neck gear

 

IDF’s new neck protector against knife attacks, which needed to be comfortable & flexible, was developed within 2 weeks, and now 850,000 will be manufactured & distributed to the soldiers.

With the wave of terrorist attacks showing no sign of receding, the Israel Defense Forces has decided to issue special neck protectors to soldiers in the GOC Central Command to protect them from stabbing attacks while on duty.

The Central Command requested the special equipment in December. Until now, soldiers on duty have been equipped with helmets and vests designed to protect their heads and torsos, but their necks were exposed and vulnerable.
