Security forces believe they have apprehended the terrorists responsible for Thursday night’s firebomb attack, which left a young girl in critical condition.

firebomb JPEGSpeaking to 11 year-old Ayala Shapira’s mother on Friday, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon revealed that it appeared the attacker had been apprehended. His identity has not yet been released.

IDF forces quickly deployed in a massive operation to track down the terrorist responsible for the attack, which also left father Avner lightly injured.

Minister Naftali Bennett: ‘Jerusalem terror driver was Abbas’s emissary of death’

An Egged bus shuttling children to school was pelted with stones and a bottle of paint on Sunday morning while driving by the Ras al-Amud square in East Jerusalem.

Israel has been working to temper tensions with Jordan after a Jordanian judge was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers at the Allenby Bridge border crossing on Monday. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a formal apology to Jordanian King Abdullah II on Tuesday for the death of Raed Alaa el-Deen Za’eiter.

An Arab terrorist was shot to death Monday morning at the Allenby Bridge crossing to Jordan, after he attacked an IDF soldier. The bridge, which is not open to Israeli Jews, was closed due to the incident as an investigation was carried out.

The confrontation apparently started when the terrorist attempted to wrestle the soldier’s gun away from him, leading the soldier to defend himself and in doing so shoot the attacker to death.

2 Jerusalem Arabs Run Over Cop in Latest ‘Trickling of Terror’

In latest of series of Palestinian terror attacks, 2 Jerusalem Arabs were arrested after car chase for running over a police officer.

In the latest attack in what MK Yoni Chetboun (Jewish Home) has termed “trickling terror,” two Arab residents of the Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya ran over a police officer who stopped them following a car chase Tuesday night.

Civilian worker shot by Palestinian sniper from inside Gaza

Civilian IDF contractor, fixing Gaza-Israel border’s security fence was shot by a Gaza sniper.

He was evacuated to Be’er Sheva’s Soroka Hospital.

A civilian worker for the IDF was shot by sniper fire near Gaza, where he was working between Nachal Oz and Kfar Aza. The worker was evacuated to Be’er Sheva’s Soroka Hospital.

The worker was fixing the security fence that was revealed to have holes and damage in it, caused by the recent snow and rainstorm. Soldiers have reported that repairs have been slow or non-existent, creating a security threat.

Police near Jerusalem foiled an attempted terror attack against them Sunday evening and arrested the three terrorists involved.

The attempted attack took place at the police roadblock at Mishor Adumim Junction, near Maale Adumim.

Three Arab men got off a taxi mext to the roadblock and began advancing toward the police checkpoint. One of them held a knife.

One of the policemen saw the knife and warned his cohorts. They succeeded in overcoming the attackers and arrested them. Continue Reading »

Palestinian reports say 1 died from gunshot wound and 7 injured as result of clashes with  MAGAV unit that arrived in refugee camp in search of terror suspect.

A Palestinian was killed on Wednesday as a result of clashes with an Israeli security force in a refugee camp in the West Bank town of Jenin, Palestinian sources reported.

The Palestinian who was killed, identified as Nafa Jamil Saadi, 22, has reportedly died of his wounds while being evacuated to a hospital.

The Israeli security force, with the Border Guard’s counterterrorism unit, has entered the Jenin refugee camp dressed as technicians to arrest an Islamic Jihad operative, who, in light of the exchange of fire, was not detained. Continue Reading »
