Gag order lifted: Israeli Arab indicted for treason, spying for Iran

Israeli District Court judge rules that personal details of Ayman Haj Yahya, a 50 yr-old Tayibe resident, can now be made public, some 2 weeks after being indicted on numerous security offenses, including intention to commit treason.

An Israeli man accused of spying for Iranian government has been named as Ayman Haj Yahya.

The court on Sunday ruled to release the personal details about the 50-year-old from the Arab city of Tayibe in central Israel.

Yahya was indicted two weeks ago at Lod District Court for committing a series of security offenses including having ties to Iranian foreign agents and intention to commit treason. Continue Reading »

Israel Kibbutz volunteers mass-produce reusable masks of all sizes

The Israeli masks, with sizes to fit adults, kids or men with full beards, are made of high-density cotton which can be disinfected in a 60° C laundry cycle for almost unlimited reuse, as global demand has made single-use masks scarce, or too overpriced.

Israel is heading off shortages of disposable surgical masks during the coronavirus crisis by mass-producing washable versions sized to fit everyone from children to bearded men who shun shaving due to their religion.

REPORT: Israeli drone hits Hezbollah vehicle in Syria

Foreign pro-Syrian sources say the Iran-backed passengers escaped the car before it was destroyed by an Israeli drone; Sky News Arabia reported the vehicle was carrying a Hezbollah commander belonging to the Lebanese terror group near Syria-Lebanon border.

An Israeli drone targeted a car carrying forces from Iran-backed Hezbollah in Syria near the Lebanese border, a commander in the pro-Damascus regional alliance and a security source said.

The sources said there were no casualties, with the passengers escaping before the car was hit and destroyed.

Forbes published its comprehensive study ranking how 60 countries are dealing with the coronavirus, determining Israel is the safest country in the world to be in fighting against the pandemic.

A study published in Forbes Magazine presents a comprehensive analysis examining the steps taken in various countries around the world as part of the fight against the spread of the Corona virus.

In the study, 60 countries are ranked according to different factors, including safety, risk level, treatment efficacy, and government support for people affected by the economic impact of the virus.

100% survival rate on Israeli COVID-19 treatment for critically ill

According to preliminary data provided by the Haifa-based company, not only have all six of the critically ill coronavirus patients that were treated survived, but four of them showed improvement in respiratory parameters.

Six critically ill coronavirus patients in Israel who are considered high-risk for mortality have been treated with Pluristem’s placenta-based cell-therapy product and survived, according to preliminary data provided by the Haifa-based company.

Fuel prices drop in Israel to lowest levels in over a decade

Travel restrictions dictated by the gov’t to contain the spread of the coronavirus outbreak have caused Israel’s fuel prices to nosedive, reaching prices not seen since 2009.

Israel’s Energy Ministry announced that fuel prices will fall to the lowest price in over a decade, beginning Tuesday at midnight.

According to the Energy Ministry’s updated fuel prices for the month of April, the price per liter of 95 octane gasoline will drop by NIS 1.03 (¢ 0.29), bringing the total cost to NIS 4.89 ($1.37), a 17.4-percent decline since March.

Palestinian incitement persists despite Israel’s aid to fight pandemic

To divert attention from their gross mismanagement, Hamas launched a rocket into Israel, then, for personal political gain, the PA Prime Minister falsely accused the IDF of purposely infecting Palestinian civilians with the coronavirus. All that as Israel transferred millions of shekels, tons of medicines and truckloads of equipment to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

Israel Ranks 1st Worldwide in Safety Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Israel gets top global rating for promoting health and safety during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the Deep Knowledge Group website.

The Deep Knowledge group put Israel in first place among countries around the world when it comes to promoting safety amid the coronavirus pandemic, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s media adviser announced Tuesday.

The Deep Knowledge Group is “an investment fund focused on AI and DeepTech, which values knowledge above profit,” its website says.

Israeli division CEO gives away patents to manufacture ventilators

Medtronic, the world’s largest manufacturer of medical equipment, is currently receiving large amounts of attention for its ventilator. This week, the CEO of the company’s Israel division, Yaron Yitzhari, made the decision to release all of Medtronic’s patents for the production of ventilators, in order to enable any company wishing to manufacture them to use Medtronic’s blueprints, for free.

A 25-year-old as-yet-unnamed Israeli woman has been accused of spying for the Lebanese Shiite-Islamist terrorist group, Hezbollah.

The Central District Attorney’s Office cleared some of the details of the case for publication Monday. Jewish billionaire donates 2 million face masks to hospitals, first responders

Philanthropist and casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, donates 2 million face masks to New York & Nevada hospitals from which 250K of the masks will go to the Trump administration’s program to assist health workers.

Billionaire casino magnate and philanthropist Sheldon Adelson has donated about 2 million face masks to hospitals and first responders in New York and Nevada.

The Jewish Insider website first reported the donation, citing an unnamed source close to Adelson.

The masks were made in China and paid for by Adelson.

Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh on Sunday accused IDF soldiers of deliberately spreading the novel coronavirus among the West Bank’s Palestinian population.

In the latest iteration of an ongoing and long-standing blood libel, Shtayyeh claimed, “We were exposed to testimonies that some of the (Israeli) soldiers are trying to spread the virus on car handles.”

IDF retaliates, shells multiple Hamas posts in Gaza

In retaliation for rocket fire on southern Israel from Palestinian terror enclave, the IDF attacked Hamas military posts and infrastructure.

IDF aircraft and tanks on Friday evening struck military posts and infrastructure used for underground activity by the Hamas terrorist organization in northern Gaza, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

The statement added the attacks were carried out in retaliation for the rocket fire from the Gaza Strip toward Israeli territory earlier in the evening.
