New Czech atlases replace Jerusalem with Tel Aviv as Israel’s Capital

 

After Palestinian ambassador to the Czech Republic complained, Prague ordered all governmental atlases to identify Tel Aviv as Israel’s capital instead of Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is no longer the capital of Israel, according to atlases being distributed to primary and secondary schools of the Czech Republic.

The Czech education ministry announced the intended change on August 23, after receiving complaints from the Palestinian Authority’s embassy in Prague, led by ambassador Khaled Alattrash.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with African leaders in New York in September, as part of the annual United Nations General Assembly meeting.

Netanyahu visited Africa in July for a four-day trip that included meeting with the leaders of Kenya, Rwanda and Ethiopia.

Palestinian rights activist at the Hague receives death threats

 

Dutch authorities confirmed they were investigating threats against a legal researcher at the Palestinian rights group Al-Haq, who says she’s received multiple death threats since the beginning of the year.

Australia ends funding World Vision after transferring Million$ to Hamas

Australia has suspended funding to humanitarian NGO World Vision, pending investigations into the nature of its funding to the Hamas terror organization in Gaza.

Official ‘pro-settlements in the West Bank’ caucus forming in European Parliament

 

Czech MEP Petr Mach has begun establishing the first official intergroup to support Jewish West Bank settlements, to combat BDS in the European Parliament, and to assert support for Israel.

Soon, an official intergroup of friends the West Bank in the European Parliament will come into being for the first time. The intergroup, a form of , will be composed of more than ten members of European Parliament (MEPs) from several countries, headed by Czech MEP Petr Mach (Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy Group).

Trump’s GOP Becomes More Pro-Israel Than Ever

 

U.S. Republican Party updates its official policy platform, taking an unprecedented pro-Israel position including Jerusalem, as the “indivisible” capital of the Jewish State.

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday declared on Twitter that the party’s platform is now more pro-Israel than it has ever been.

Indeed, the Republican Party’s Platform Committee did make surprising policy changes that no previous candidate would or could have represented.

The new platform erases all reference to a “two-state solution” and utterly rejects “the false notion that Israel is an occupier.” It further states that Jerusalem is the “indivisible” capital of the Jewish state. Continue Reading »

German police raid 60 authors of anti-Semitic internet postings

In a nationwide attempt to identify & arrest the sources of hateful, anti-Semitic postings on the internet, police in 14 German states conduct coordinated raids on 60 individuals.

BERLIN (JTA) — Police in 14 German states reportedly conducted raids on 60 individuals in an attempt to root out the sources of anti-Semitic and other hate postings on the internet.

According to German news reports, the raids followed months of observing one Facebook group that glorified National Socialism and broke German laws against promoting hate.
