The Palestinian president has awarded his people’s highest honor to a former UN official who was forced to resign last week after authoring a report that accused Israel of establishing an “apartheid regime.”

Israel, US reject UN agency’s invidious report of ‘Apartheid Regime’, as outright lie

 

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric told reporters in New York, “The report as it stands does not reflect the views of the secretary-general (Antonio Guterres),” adding that the report itself reflects the views of the authors, ESCWA, that’s comprised of 18 Arab states in Western Asia.

A UN agency published a report on Wednesday accusing Israel of imposing an “apartheid regime” of racial discrimination on the Palestinian people, and said it was the first time a UN body had clearly made the charge.

Israel’s Public Security Minister Erdan signs order closing a Palestinian Authority office in east Jerusalem, commissioned to engage in surveillance and investigations to identify Arabs that sold land, buildings, or homes to Jews.

A Palestinian Authority government agency secretly operating in east Jerusalem was shut down on Tuesday on the order of Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan.

The PA agency, operating in the Beit Hanina neighborhood, was carrying out surveillance and registering of Arabs who sold land to Jews.

The refusal to allow entry of the chairman of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, which works to promote boycotts to harm the Jewish State, is in accordance to the policies set by Israel’s Ministry of Strategic Affairs, the Immigration Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Iran blocks Waze GPS navigation for being ‘Made in Israel’

 

Although the app is widely used among Iranian drivers, the Iranian news agency FARS reports a temporarily block of the GPS navigation application Waze is currently in effect due to gov’t concerns, since its development was in the Jewish State.

Authorities in Iran have temporarily blocked people from using the navigation app Waze because it was developed in Israel.

UN Human Rights Council lambastes Azariya’s manslaughter sentence

 

A UN Human Rights Council representative, in a short written statement, criticized the Tel Aviv Military Court and its 18-month prison sentence handed down to Elor Azariya, for shooting dead a wounded terrorist, as ‘excessively lenient.’

A representative of the UN Human Rights Council heavily criticized the sentencing of soldier Elor Azariya this week.

Azariya, who was convicted of manslaughter for shooting a wounded terrorist, was sentenced to 18 months in prison.

PA charges Israel with ‘terrorism’ for closing Hamas affiliated school in Jerusalem

 

The PA’s public diplomacy bureau said school closure was demonstrative of Israel’s “terrorist activities”, calling Israel’s claims of incitement in the school’s curriculum as “lies”.

The Al Nkhba School in the Sur Baher neighborhood of eastern Jerusalem was ordered to be closed after it was discovered that the school had been established by officials affiliated  with the Hamas terrorist organization, and that the curriculum included severe incitement against the State of Israel. Spanish courts nullify 2 anti-Israel resolutions passed by local municipalities

 

With Spain having the highest number of anti-Israel municipal rulings in Europe, Spanish Courts have begun to take a hard line against the BDS movement, as panels of judges in Barcelona & Valencia begin overturning those decisions to boycott Israel.

Judges in the Spanish cities of Valencia and Barcelona have overturned two anti-Israel decisions passed by Spanish municipalities under the auspices of the boycott, divestment, and sanctions movement (BDS).

The decisions were passed by the local councils of Xeraco, south of Valencia, and Olesa de Montserrat, near Barcelona in the Catalon region.

Under pressure, SodaStream relocated from the West Bank to Israel’s Negev, employing Israeli Bedouin, when 600 Palestinians lost their jobs as a result of the move.

EU postpones summit with Israel as ‘punishment’ for passage of Regulation Law

 

The EU chastised Israel over the Regulation Law’s passage and postponed indefinitely a meeting between EU and Israeli officials, seen as a step towards mending strained relations.
