UN Security Council criticizes Israel for mistreating Palestinian children

The UN ignored the 47 acts of terrorism against Israelis that have been carried out by Palestinian youth since last fall, as well as the non-stop incitement in Palestinian schools to hate & kill Jews, but focused on exaggerated and/or fabricated charges against Israel.

NEW YORK – Israel was criticized for committing violations against Palestinian children by countries including Venezuela, Iran and Saudi Arabia on Tuesday as the United Nations Security Council, presided this month by Malaysia, held a meeting focusing on Children in Armed Conflict.

Palestinians continue to condemn ‘Israelization’ of Jerusalem

Maintaining their rights to use education as a tool in fulfilling their ultimate goal of acquiring all of Israel one day, Arab-Israeli Knesset Members released a statement acknowledging their intent to continue the Palestinian curriculum, which praises terrorists and treats Israel as a temporarily occupied area.

By Dalit Halevi

The Palestinian Authority and members of the Israeli Arab population slammed the Education Ministry for its “Israelizing” policies in education in the eastern part of Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Ministry of Education criticized the Jerusalem policies in a statement published on July 30. The statement was signed by Palestinian Education Minister Sabi Saydem, by several Israeli Arab public figures, and by Israeli-Arab MKs Ahmed Tibi and Jamal Zahalka.

PMW Report: How Abbas’ PA creates & propagates anti-Semitic propaganda

view videoPalestinian Media Watch exposes how Mahmoud Abbas and his Palestinian Authority operates a Goebbels-style propaganda machine that creates, inflates, and broadcasts locally and internationally, outrageous anti-Jewish canards.

By Itamar Marcus

(The following is a redaction of a report by Itamar Marcus. The report in its original form can be found here.)

The Palestinian Authority has revived the medieval blood libel that Jews are poisoning the wells of non-Jews. The PA even named a nonexistent rabbi and rabbinical council as being responsible for this call to poison all Palestinian water sources.

While Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas publicized this canard during his recent speech at the European Union parliament last week, the notion that Jews are poisoning Arab water supplies has become a prominent feature in local PA media outlets. Continue Reading »

ISRAEL: Water supply to West Bank Palestinians increased, not decreased

Contrary to mainstream media reports, Israel has increased the water flow to Palestinians in the evening, when its demand is particularly higher after the Ramadan fast.

By TOVAH LAZAROFF,  MICHELLE MALKA GROSSMAN

Israel on Thursday dismissed Palestinian charges that it had cut the water supply to West Bank Palestinians, explaining that a broken water pipe had caused a temporary shortage.

PA caught misleading WHO with photoshopped propaganda

NGO Media Watchdog points to examples of photograph manipulation, distortion and fraudulent captions on a Palestinian Health Ministry report to UN Health body, in which photos were purposely given false captions to invent Israeli violations of Palestinian rights.

By Jonathan Benedek/TPS

Israel has challenged the accuracy and objectivity of a report submitted by the Palestinians to the World Health Organization (WHO), saying it is riddled with misleading or false captions to photos accusing the Jewish state of wrongdoing.

A report released last month by the UN health organization warned of the “mental, physical, and environmental health” of Palestinians under Israeli control. Continue Reading »

Britain, France, Germany and other EU states joined the UN jackals to demonize Israel

Had the EU wanted, they could have set the record straight, and taken a stand against such baseless demonization of the Jewish state. Disgracefully, however, Britain, France, Germany and the other EU states joined the UN jackals by voting against Israel, as the world’s only violator of health rights.

By UN Watch

The UK, France, Germany and other EU states voted today for a UN resolution, co-sponsored by the Arab group of states and the Palestinian delegation, that singled out Israel at the annual assembly of the World Health Organization (WHO) as the only violator of “mental, physical and environmental health,” and commissioned a WHO delegation to investigate and report on “the health conditions in the occupied Palestinian territory” and in “the occupied Syrian Golan,” and to place it on the agenda again at next year’s meeting.  B’Tselem, a left-wing group that campaigns against Israel’s presence in the West Bank, said it had been providing information to the Military Advocate General Corps about alleged abuses for 25 years, but had concluded it was increasingly a “whitewash mechanism” and a “mere semblance of justice.”

Obama paid J-Street $576,000 to promote Iran deal when White House jive contradicted professional opinions

Reports now prove J-Street, not the true advocate for Israel it purports to be, received $576,000 from President Obama to deceive the American Jews, and advocate for Iran in the nuclear deal, in spite of the actual danger the deal proved to imperil Israel.

By Ari Soffer

Watch: Pro-Israel supporters neutralize BDS mob protesting in London

WATCH: The UK’s Israel Advocacy Movement mobilized activists, including a number of pro-Israel Muslims, seriously outnumbering the bewildered group of ignorant far-left extremists who were waving their Palestinian flags upside down.

By Ari Soffer

Things didn’t go quite as planned for a group of anti-Israel activists, who hoped to force the closure of an Israeli-owned shop in honor of “Nakba Day” – the day dedicated to mourning the failure of combined Arab armies to destroy the State of Israel at birth.

Several dozen members of the London Palestine Action organization targeted the Sabon cosmetics store on Sunday, mimicking campaigns by other anti-Israel boycotters – belonging to the so-called Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS) – to force the closure of businesses owned by Jewish Israelis. What’s Behind Britain’s Hard Left Turn & Where Its Going

Today’s Europe has frightening comparisons with Hitler’s rise to power, as once again, Judeo-Christian foundations are crumbling all about us.

By Charles Gardner

We’ve been here before. History is repeating itself and I’m again experiencing that sense of déjà vu that prompted me (just ten days ago) to write about the anti-Semitism row within the British Labour Party in the context of Theodor Herzl’s Zionist campaign, which itself was prompted by anti-Jewish mania.

Labour Leader, Jeremy Corbyn

As I have contemplated the ongoing controversy, I am reminded with horror of how Hitler’s rise to power seemingly came out of nowhere. Continue Reading »

Jerusalem conference exposes BDS propaganda shortfalls

Mid-East expert explains to young Jewish leaders fighting an intellectual war against BDS that, “you have to reclaim the narrative of liberalism… that if you are a liberal, you have to be against BDS, because BDS is against co-existence and negotiations.”

By DANIEL K. EISENBUD

As the BDS movement and other anti-Israel propaganda continue to gain traction on college campuses around the world, young Jewish leaders are increasingly becoming the most important first line of defense in an intellectual war defined by dueling narratives.

Neil Lazarus teaches students from the Masa-GLI Leadership Development Initiative in Jerusalem how to effectively counter BDS proponents.
