Anti-Israel protests going violent & viral in Europe & the U.S.

The pro-Palestinian narrative has become more vicious” with chants that say “Death to Israel” and signs that refer to Jews, not Israelis.

 

Fallout from the hostilities between Israel and Hamas is spreading across Europe and the United States. Protests about the conflict have flared up, much like they did during past battles, increasingly turning confrontational, notably in the United States, Israel’s staunchest ally.

Olympic committee suspends Tunisia after barring Israel’s flag

The Chief of the Israeli baseball association was forbidden from displaying Israel’s flag at the World Baseball Softball Confederation congress in Tunisia.

 

LAUSANNE, Switzerland — The International Olympic Committee has issued a warning to the international baseball and softball federation after an Israeli delegate was barred from displaying his national flag at a recent meeting in Tunisia.

Swedish man severely beaten with iron pipes for displaying Israeli flag by window

After thorough investigation, local Police suspect that the attack against the 38-year-old, in the Swedish city of Malmö, was a hate crime, reported The Local, Sweden’s English language website.

A man was severely assaulted in the Swedish city of Malmö on Sunday night after hanging an Israeli flag out of his window, according to local media reports.

Police suspect that the attack against the 38-year-old was a hate crime, The Local website reported. “Our initial evaluation is that this is a hate crime,” policewoman Marie Keismar said.

No Israeli Condemnation from UN Security Council on Palestinian deaths

Security Council members were unable to agree on the wording of a resolution after disputing the strength of language & mentioning Israel specifically.

AP – The UN Security Council has failed to agree on a statement that would have deplored the deaths of Palestinians in Israeli operations following the disappearance of three Israeli teenagers.

Russia’s UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin, the current council president, told reporters he proposed the press statement after listening to a Palestinian appeal for council action, but one council member wanted stronger language and one didn’t want any reference to Israel.
