Lithuanian Power Station Built With Jewish Headstones

A local resident noticed stolen Jewish headstones were used to build Lithuanian power station.

Archaeologists have confirmed that a Lithuanian power station was built using stolen Jewish tombstones.

Earlier this month Gledrius Sakalauskas, a local resident, noticed that many of the stones used to build the station contained Hebrew or Yiddish writing. “I touched the stones and I realized that they’re really gravestones,” he told AP.

Sakalauskas says that he is very saddened, but not surprised. There used to be a Jewish cemetery across the street from where the station now stands.

African Passerby Joined Savage Assault of Jewish Teen by 4 Arab Thugs On Paris Street

In latest anti-Semitic attack in France, a North African passerby joined in the ongoing assault by Arab thugs, leaving the savagely beaten Jewish teen in serious condition.

In the latest attack in a string of anti-Semitic incidents in Paris, a young Jewish teen was violently assaulted outside of the Buttes Chaumont Park on Friday, May 15.

The 16-year-old boy, who was wearing a Kippa (skullcap) at the time, was attacked while returning to his home to prepare for Shabbat dinner.

Foreign Ministry caucus seeks to eliminate anti-Semitic websites

With current laws on hate speech not being enforced, Israeli task-force of experts begin working to stop the spread of anti-Semitism in Europe by having Google remove search results that lead users to anti-Semitic, Holocaust denial websites.

A special forum of some 1,000 experts put together by the Foreign Ministry has decided to act to combat the spread of anti-Semitism in Europe, including online.

The Foreign Ministry’s Global Forum for Combating Anti-Semitism, which held a three-day conference in Jerusalem last week, has determined a series of practical steps to use in changing what it called “a discourse of hate speech.”

Canadian Multiculturalism Minister: Defending Israel Key to Tackling Anti-Semitism

Canada’s Minister Uppal admits his country defends Israel ‘not because it’s popular, but because it’s the right thing to do.’

Supporting Israel is part and parcel of the fight against anti-Semitism, and other countries should learn from Canada’s example in doing so, a Canadian minister has said.

Speaking to Arutz Sheva at the 5th Global Forum for Combating Anti-Semitism, Minister of State for Multiculturalism Tim Uppal said it was “only natural” that the Canadian government should send a senior delegation to the event.

He cited Canada’s role as a safe haven for Jews fleeing persecution in the past, including some 40,000 holocaust survivors “who came  to the country, established themselves and really helped helped build the country into what it is today.”

Canada’s New Hate Crime Laws Will Prosecute BDS Anti-Semitism

Steven Blaney, Canada’s Public Security Minister said boycotts of Israel constitute anti-Semitic hate speech & violence, and vowed a “zero tolerance” policy toward the BDS movement.

Canada, one of Israel’s staunchest allies, appears primed to use its new hate crime laws against groups advocating for the virulently anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

According to a Canadian Broadcasting Company report on Monday, Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s government made its intentions clear by sending a list of the country’s hate crime laws in response to CBC’s inquiry on its stance on BDS.

The separate apologies were issued Friday, a day of nationwide commemorations of the end of World War II 70 years ago.

Cardinal Christoph Schoenborn said the Catholic Church “must acknowledge its share of responsibility for the creation of a climate of disdain and hatred” for Jews before the Nazi era.

Dutch Gov’t Slashes Jewish Holocaust Survivor’s Pension for Moving to “West Jordan Bank”

To escape the anti-Semitism, a Jewish Dutch Holocaust survivor moved to Israel and had her pension chopped by 35% for residing in a non-Arab town over 1949 Armistice Lines.

Holland has cut down the pension payments of a Dutch Holocaust survivor who recently immigrated to Israel, because she settled in a town in the “West Jordan Bank.”

According to a Channel 2 report on Thursday, the 90-year-old Dutch national decided to join her family in the Jewish state in the wake of increased anti-Semitism across Europe.

Four Argentines charged in attack on Israelis in Patagonia hostel

The Israeli tourists were terrorized and injured in  protracted anti-Semitic attack at their hostel in Argentina.

A federal judge in Argentina charged four people under an anti-discrimination law for a January attack on Israeli tourists.

Guido Otranto accused four people on March 17 in connection with the attack that he said was motivated by “hatred against a religion and against one nationality.” Otranto fined each of the four approximately $5,700 and required they report to the court monthly until their trial.
