Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely has taken to the pages of the Wall Street Journal, to challenge international donors over how billions in aid to the Palestinian Authority have been used to fund terrorism, instead of for the humanitarian and economic purposes they were earmarked for.

In her oped, which was published late on Sunday, Hotovely acknowledges that there is “broad agreement about the importance of extending development aid to help the Palestinians build the physical and social infrastructure that will enable the emergence of a sustainable, prosperous society.” Continue Reading »

The Hamas leader in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, unimpressed with Mahmoud Abbas’s propaganda remark to Christian media that the current ‘knife attacks’ were the result of Palestinians’ despair, said, “This intifada is a jihad, a holy war fought by the Palestinian people against the Zionist occupation. Only a holy war will drive the occupier out of Palestine.”

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has accused watchdog group Palestinian Media Watch of “incitement against the Palestinians and the Palestinian curriculum,” the group revealed Wednesday – for PMW’s work exposing the statements against Israelis and Jews in official PA media.

WASHINGTON – The US State Department on Tuesday rejected calls by 32 congressional lawmakers, including Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, to close the Washington office of the Palestinian Liberation Organization.

Khalida Jarrar, a senior member of the leftist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and a well-known political figure, was sentenced on Sunday at the Ofer military court near the city of Ramallah in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has banned a Gaza-based Hamas network from broadcasting within its borders Monday, it announced on its official Facebook page – apparently to stop incitement

While Israel has cracked down on incitement against Israelis and Jews from within the PA, the PA itself has apparently begun monitoring – and filtering – broadcasts as well.

Israel Police arrest 2 Palestinians from Jerusalem for inciting to have Jews killed via Facebook

 

According to the police, the 2 Palestinians regularly sought attackers in the capital’s Arab neighborhoods by posting images of knives, and encouraging them to stab Jewish residents.

 

Two Palestinian men in their 20s were arrested by police on Wednesday morning in the flashpoint east Jerusalem Arab neighborhood of Silwan for using Facebook to incite violence against Jews in the capital.

The unidentified suspects were arrested in their homes following a two-week undercover investigation carried out by detectives, police said.

The Israel Defense Forces, Shin Bet security agency and the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) shut down on Saturday night a radio station in Hebron which the IDF said was broadcasting content that incited Palestinian listeners to attack Israelis.
