Israeli hurt when Palestinian Arab threw explosive at Bethlehem holy site

 

An explosive devise was hurled at Rachel’s Tomb, causing injuries to a Jewish man, who was evacuated to hospital by paramedics.

 

 

Palestinians hurled two improvised grenades at Israelis in Bethlehem on Monday evening in two attacks, injuring one civilian.

An explosive was thrown at Rachel’s Tomb, causing injuries to one man, who was evacuated to hospital by paramedics. Earlier, an explosive was thrown at an IDF base in the area. No injuries were reported in that attack.

Monday’s events are the latest indication that Palestinian violence is on the rise, though Israeli policymakers and defense experts remain doubtful that we are on the cusp of a third intifada. Continue Reading »

A weapons cache that exploded inside a locked safe at the site of the future Palestinian Authority embassy in Prague was entirely unregistered, and the illegal cache may be just the tip of the iceberg of a Europe-wide weapons smuggling ring, according to Czech officials. The sources made the allegation in interviews with Czech-language Aktualne.cz, which were translated by the Elder of Ziyon blog.

A teenager shot by Israeli troops in Gaza died of his wounds, Palestinian medical sources said.

The 16-year-old died Friday afternoon from gunshot wounds sustained Thursday after he and several other Palestinians approached the security fence separating Israel from the Gaza Strip, according to a report Friday on Israel Radio.

The teenager was identified by the Ma’an news agency as Adnan Abu Khater.

IDF shoots at Palestinian placing explosive devise on fence at Gaza-Israel border

 

This Palestinian hit by gunfire comes after 4 incidents of IDF soldiers opening fire on border ‘incidents’ over past weekend.

 

IDF soldiers fired at the legs of a Palestinian man attempting to plant an explosive on the Gaza – Israel border Monday.

The incident occurred on the border with northern Gaza. The man was hit by gunfire, though his condition remains unknown.

A Jewish resident of Mahane Yatir, in southern Mount Hevron, was ambushed by a rock-wielding Arab youth Friday as he drove toward the community of Carmel, not far from the Zif Junction.

Apprehended: 4 Arabs arrested in terror stone-throwing attack on 2 yr-old

 

Police arrest four Arabs in connection to stone throwing attack on passing car that left toddler with head wounds.

Police and Border Guard officers arrested four Arab youths, aged 15 to 20, in connection to the stone throwing incident Thursday that left 2-year-old Avigail Ben Zion moderately wounded.

According to security forces, after the incident the group fled the scenes and its members were arrested when they returned to their respective homes. Police said the incident was most likely nationalistically motivated. 

According to reports, the infant, Avigail, was hit with a stone that was thrown in the direction of the family car, as her mother, Shirin Ben Tzion, was driving in Jerusalem. Continue Reading »

Toddler Seriously Injured in Arab Rock-Throwing Ambush

A 2-year-old baby was hospitalized after suffering a serious head injury when the car she was in, was attacked in southern Jerusalem by Arabs throwing stones.

A two-year-old baby was seriously injured Thursday when Muslim terrorists hurled rocks at the car she was in, at the entrance to the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood in southern Jerusalem.

A Magen David Adom (MDA) team gave the baby initial medical care and took her to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital. She suffered a serious head injury.

Security forces are combing the area in search of the terrorists.

A Knesset committee hearing regarding internal security issues at the Mount of Olives revealed that the roads to the historic site present a mortal danger to travelers and pilgrims. The Mount of Olives holds one of Judaism’s oldest cemeteries, and is the burial site of several prominent religious leaders.

Alert IDF soldiers were able to foil a terrorist attack at a checkpoint near Bethlehem on Thursday evening.

A Palestinian Authority Arab terrorist who was armed with a knife arrived at the checkpoint and tried to stab a Border Guard officer who was stationed there.
