EU postpones summit with Israel as ‘punishment’ for passage of Regulation Law

 

The EU chastised Israel over the Regulation Law’s passage and postponed indefinitely a meeting between EU and Israeli officials, seen as a step towards mending strained relations.

While the United States has refused to condemn passage of the Regulation Law Monday night, Britain and the European Union slammed the legislation on Tuesday, saying that it threatened the pursuit of a two-state solution. Neither referred to the previous situation on Cyprus, when Greeks were allowed to recompense Turks for building on their land when the island was divided rather than abandon their home, this with the consent of the Hague Court. Turkish delegation visits Jerusalem to discuss joint Mediterranean gas pipeline

 

While delegations in Jerusalem progress in their discussions to construct a natural gas pipeline from Israel to Turkey and on to Europe, Israel’s Energy Ministry Director General Shaul Meridor is set to meet soon with Italian, Cypriot & Greek ministers for talks on a different pipeline project.

A delegation from the Turkish Energy Ministry is currently visiting Israel for talks about a joint gas pipeline that would pump gas from Israel to Turkey and Europe.

IDF hits Gaza for 4th time after multiple attacks against Israel, IDF

 

IDF attacks four separate Hamas targets throughout Gaza in retaliation for rocket fire at the western Negev and rocket fire a short time earlier against IDF soldiers.

The IDF today (Monday) attacked Hamas positions and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip in four separate strikes.

The last air strike was carried out in the evening, with three Hamas installations in the northern and southern Gaza Strip confirmed hits.

The IDF spokesman said that “the attacks were carried out in light of events that have been occurring over the last month. The IDF holds the Hamas terrorist organization solely responsible for what is happening in the Gaza Strip and will not tolerate any attempt to harm the security of Israel and its citizens, and will work to preserve quiet for both sides.” Continue Reading »

Police in East Jerusalem raid confiscate Hamas cash paid to terrorists’ families

 

The Israel Police raided 7 terrorists’ homes in E. Jerusalem for funds & property Hamas divvied out in lieu of terrorist attacks, i.e. foreign currencies, cars and jewelry worth hundreds of thousands of shekels.

Cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of shekels were confiscated from seven terrorists’ families on ; police explained that the families received the goods from Hamas. In addition, 14 suspects were arrested and brought in for questioning.

REPORT: SodasStream plans to embed Israeli flag on its worldwide packaging

 

Despite the risk of a backlash from the BDS movement, SodaStream Int’l CEO David Birnbaum said: ‘I am proud to be Israeli, so I’m putting my flag on 50 million products manufactured in Israel.’

SodaStream International announced that it will begin embedding the Israeli flag on the packaging for its products, Ynet reported.

The picture of the flag will be accompanied by the caption: “This product is made by Arabs and Jews working side by side in peace and harmony.”

Top Hamas explosive ‘expert’ killed in Gaza ‘work accident’

 

One of Hamas’ senior terrorists, an explosive expert according to Israel TV2news, was killed Saturday night in an explosion in the Gaza Strip.

Members of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas terror organization, reported Sunday that a senior organization leader was killed in an explosion in the Gaza Strip Saturday night.

The Hamas leader reportedly lost multiple limbs in the explosion, and eventually succumbed to his injuries.

Report: Obama gave Iran green light to develop missiles that can reach Israel

Thousands of Israelis attend Tel Aviv rally for cannabis legalization

 

Thousands of Israeli demonstrators, including public figures, Knesset members and artists, rallied together in Tel Aviv to demand the government to fully legalize cannabis use.

Last week, Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan said that after reviewing the matter, he will seek government approval for the decriminalization of cannabis.

According to the new policy, first time offenders will be fined by an amount which has yet to be determined and will not receive a criminal record. Second time offenders will be fined twice that amount and will also not receive a criminal record. Third time offenders will only receive a criminal record if the police deem it necessary (in accordance with the new conditional agreement), and if so will also have their driver’s and firearms licenses revoked. PLO chief Erekat ‘Shocked’ at Trump’s inaction on Israeli construction
