Irish airline Ryanair begins 7 new Europe to Israel routes starting at $22

 

Expanding services to Ben-Gurion Int’l Airport, low-cost Ryanair airline boosts operations in Israel with tickets as low as $22.
• Tourism minister: Reduce ticket costs will promote tourism from  new routes including Warsaw, Budapest, Milan and Baden-Baden.

Low-cost Irish airline Ryanair officially released their new flight schedule for the current winter season on Wednesday, with 19 regular routes to Israel. Seven new routes will service Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport, and eight new destinations will join the four existing routes servicing Eilat’s Ovda Airport, which fly to Bratislava, Budapest, Krakow and Kaunas.

Freedom House annual report: Israel only ‘Free State’ in Mid-East

 

While still no comparison with its Muslim neighbors, Israel does rank lower than most other countries in the free world, by the criteria of this survey.

WASHINGTON – Civil liberties and political freedoms are under threat worldwide and have been rolled back in the world’s founding democracies, Freedom House declared on Wednesday in its annual report.

Israel remains the only free country in the Middle East, scoring 80 on a scale of 100. That compares favorably with partly free countries in the region such as Turkey (38), Jordan (37) and Kuwait (36), and with countries deemed “not free” by the nonprofit: Iraq (27), Iran (17), Saudi Arabia (10) and Syria (-1), among all other Mideast nations. REPORT: In addition to test-fired ballistic missile, Iran tested nuclear-capable cruise missile

 

The White House’s warning to Iran on its unsanctioned missile-testing came prior to the German newspaper’s report, that in addition to the test-firing of a medium-range ballistic missile, the Islamic republic also tested a cruise missile, capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

BERLIN – Iran tested a cruise missile called “Sumar” that is capable of carrying nuclear weapons in addition to test-firing a medium-range ballistic missile on Sunday, German newspaper Die Welt reported Thursday, citing unspecified intelligence sources.

No comment was immediately available from Germany’s BND foreign intelligence agency or from Iranian authorities.

UK PM Theresa May censures Muslim states for prohibiting entry by Israelis

 

WATCH: During a session in the House of Commons Wednesday, the British PM denounced the ‘discriminatory’ prohibition against the entry of Jewish Israelis by 16 Muslim countries, that has been ongoing for decades.

Donald Trump’s controversial ban on the entry to the US of citizens of seven Muslim countries has also drawn attention to a less known prohibition instituted by 16 Muslim countries against the entry of Israeli citizens into their territory. The issue reached the British parliament on Wednesday, where British Prime Minister Theresa May denounced the discrimination against Israelis and called on Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn to join her in denouncing the discrimination. King of Morocco hints to global terrorism should US embassy move to Jerusalem

 

Sky News Arabic reported on Tuesday, that Morocco’s King Mohammed VI warned the U.S. that moving their embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would have “grave repercussions on security & peace” in the region and “the entire world.”

Relocating the embassy “would undermine efforts for the just settlement of the Palestinian issue, as well as result in disastrous repercussions on security and peace in the Middle East region and the entire world,” the King’s message said, according to the report.

The King also wrote a letter to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, said Sky News, in which he vowed that Morocco holds a “deep belief in justice for the Palestinian cause and that what they have done to the city of Jerusalem is of utmost importance.” Continue Reading »

Publicly EU denounces BDS, then passes €MILLION$ to pro-BDS organizations

 

Despite the often repeated, publicly given anti-BDS declarations, the EU continues funding millions of euros to pro-BDS organizations that promote anti-Israel protests, accuses Israel of perpetrating “massacres,” “cultural genocide,” “apartheid” and regularly issues posters and caricatures demonizing the Jewish State, some of which are virulently antisemitic.

REPORT: Iran AGAIN launched Ballistic Missile test in defiance of UN resolution 2231

 

Conspicuously neglected in the American sponsored nuclear agreement with Iran, the UN passed resolution 2231, which stated that Iran could not conduct ballistic missile tests, making the test that occurred on Sunday outside Semnan, about 140 miles east of Tehran, a direct violation of the UN resolution.

ANALYSIS: PA’s Abbas professes desire for 2-state-solution, but will never actualize it

 

Although the Fatah run Palestinian Authority, led by autocrat Mahmoud Abbas, publicly endorses a 2-state-solution to the US, UN, EU etc., the moment a Palestinian state was to gain independence, Hamas would eradicate Fatah exactly as it did in Gaza in 2007, and ‘Abbas and Associates’ know this as a guaranteed outcome…which is why Abbas is in his 12th year of a 4 year term as president…and having never agreed to peace offers by Israel.

Police: Arab terrorist attacks 3 Jews, killing one, after girlfriend calls him ‘Jew lover’

 

21 yr-old Israel Arab, Muhammad Shinawi, who had recently become radicalized and believes “Jews are infidels who should be killed,” was indicted for the Jan. 3 murder of Haifa resident Guy Kafri and the attempted murder of judge Yehiel Iluz.

Three shooting incidents that took place in Haifa on Jan. 3 were a spree perpetrated by a single gunman, the Israel Police revealed Monday.

Yehiel Iluz, 48, a senior judge on a Haifa rabbinic conversion court, was moderately wounded in the first shooting attack; Guy Kafri, 47, a van driver from Haifa’s Nesher neighborhood, was killed in the second attack; and a woman targeted in the third attack was unharmed.

Palestinians hurl slurs at UN Chief for acknowledging Jewish ties to Temple Mount

 

Speaking to Israel Radio on Friday, the new U.N. leader, Antonio Guterres acknowledged that “the Temple the Romans destroyed in Jerusalem was a Jewish temple,” and went on to say that he has no intention of forcing a peace process on Israel and the Palestinians.

“[Gueterres] ignored UNESCO’s decision that considered the Al-Aksa Mosque of pure Islamic heritage,” Adnan al-Husseini, Palestinian Authority Jerusalem Affairs minister told Xinhua, a Chinese news outlet, clarifying that the UN secretary-general “violated all legal, diplomatic and humanitarian customs and overstepped his role as secretary general…and must issue an apology to the Palestinian people.”

IDF releases first secured military smartphone for the battlefield

 

WATCH: IDF releases to it’s soldiers a new secure smartphone, the first of its kind, to help them maintain their security on and off the battlefield.

The IDF recently released a new military smartphone, which can support both G4 and military networks.

Using the new smartphones, IDF soldiers and commanders will be able to securely share classified information, as well as footage and visuals from the field. Spoken code, as well as the dangerous need to speak on the battlefield, will become a thing of the past.

Arab firestorm erupts on Twitter after Tzipi Livni posted photo with Saudi Prince

 

After talking peace at the World Economic Forum in Davos, former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni posted a friendly photo on Twitter that causes an explosion of hatred from Arab social media users & Arab commentators.

All those Arabs who claim to want peace were in an uproar this week after Saudi Prince Turki al-Faisal acted peacefully toward former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni.

The two were in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum. They participated in a panel, along with Jordan’s foreign minister, regarding the future of the Middle East.
