Low-cost Irish airline Ryanair officially released their new flight schedule for the current winter season on Wednesday, with 19 regular routes to Israel. Seven new routes will service Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport, and eight new destinations will join the four existing routes servicing Eilat’s Ovda Airport, which fly to Bratislava, Budapest, Krakow and Kaunas.

Freedom House annual report: Israel only ‘Free State’ in Mid-East

 

While still no comparison with its Muslim neighbors, Israel does rank lower than most other countries in the free world, by the criteria of this survey.

WASHINGTON – Civil liberties and political freedoms are under threat worldwide and have been rolled back in the world’s founding democracies, Freedom House declared on Wednesday in its annual report.

Israel remains the only free country in the Middle East, scoring 80 on a scale of 100. That compares favorably with partly free countries in the region such as Turkey (38), Jordan (37) and Kuwait (36), and with countries deemed “not free” by the nonprofit: Iraq (27), Iran (17), Saudi Arabia (10) and Syria (-1), among all other Mideast nations. REPORT: In addition to test-fired ballistic missile, Iran tested nuclear-capable cruise missile

 

The White House’s warning to Iran on its unsanctioned missile-testing came prior to the German newspaper’s report, that in addition to the test-firing of a medium-range ballistic missile, the Islamic republic also tested a cruise missile, capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

 

BERLIN – Iran tested a cruise missile called “Sumar” that is capable of carrying nuclear weapons in addition to test-firing a medium-range ballistic missile on Sunday, German newspaper Die Welt reported Thursday, citing unspecified intelligence sources.

No comment was immediately available from Germany’s BND foreign intelligence agency or from Iranian authorities.

King of Morocco hints to global terrorism should US embassy move to Jerusalem

 

Sky News Arabic reported on Tuesday, that Morocco’s King Mohammed VI warned the U.S. that moving their embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would have “grave repercussions on security & peace” in the region and “the entire world.”

Relocating the embassy “would undermine efforts for the just settlement of the Palestinian issue, as well as result in disastrous repercussions on security and peace in the Middle East region and the entire world,” the King’s message said, according to the report.

REPORT: Iran AGAIN launched Ballistic Missile test in defiance of UN resolution 2231

 

Conspicuously neglected in the American sponsored nuclear agreement with Iran, the UN passed resolution 2231, which stated that Iran could not conduct ballistic missile tests, making the test that occurred on Sunday outside Semnan, about 140 miles east of Tehran, a direct violation of the UN resolution.

Palestinians hurl slurs at UN Chief for acknowledging Jewish ties to Temple Mount

Arab firestorm erupts on Twitter after Tzipi Livni posted photo with Saudi Prince

 

After talking peace at the World Economic Forum in Davos, former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni posted a friendly photo on Twitter that causes an explosion of hatred from Arab social media users & Arab commentators.

All those Arabs who claim to want peace were in an uproar this week after Saudi Prince Turki al-Faisal acted peacefully toward former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni.

The two were in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum. They participated in a panel, along with Jordan’s foreign minister, regarding the future of the Middle East.
