Hamas blames Israel after Gazans killed & injured in tunnel attack by Egyptian Army

 

The Hamas Health Ministry reported two people killed, five injured in an “Israeli attack” on an underground tunnel which the Egyptian Army was actually responsible for.

Two people were reportedly killed and five were hurt in the southern Gaza Strip on Thursday in an “attack” on an underground tunnel along the border between Gaza and Egypt, according to Hamas’s Health Ministry.

The ministry described the incident as an “Israeli attack” and claimed it was done in response to rockets fired toward Eilat on Wednesday night.

Israeli immigration officials apologized to American activist after airport questioning

 

A Jewish, senior executive of the New Israel Fund, an American organization that funds left-wing groups such as B’Tselem and Breaking the Silence, was interviewed for an hour upon her arrival at Ben Gurion Airport.

Israeli immigration officials on Thursday apologized over their treatment of a senior executive from a liberal Jewish-American group who was interrogated for an hour on her arrival in Tel Aviv the previous day.

Legendary Hollywood action star Chuck Norris was in Israel this week, as previously reported.

As expected, Norris met with his good friend, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while in Jerusalem.

Playing on popular Internet memes, Netanyahu joked, “Israel is strong, but it’s indestructible now” as Norris entered the room.

Netanyahu also jokingly dismissed his bodyguards, suggesting they weren’t needed with Norris around.

Six people were lightly wounded after a shooting and stabbing attack at an open market in the central Israeli town of Petah Tikva on Thursday afternoon.

Police said an 18-year-old from Nablus open fired on a bus at the entrance to the market on Hirsch street at around 4:45 p.m. and then ran to a sewing shop and stabbed someone before he was stopped by civilians and later arrested by police. Continue Reading »

At least five people were wounded in what police were treating as a terrorist attack at a market in the central Israeli town of Petah Tikva on Thursday afternoon.

Magen David Adom said its emergency responders have evacuated four adults with gunshot wounds and one adult male with stab wounds to a nearby hospital.

Police said that the suspect, who was arrested at the scene, is likely from the West Bank.

Hamas military parade featured a K-9 unit annexed to elite tunnel forces

 

Although it’s known Hamas had donkeys & dogs that would explode near IDF soldiers, Hamas’ recently revealed canine unit is seen as just bravado, with Israeli experts remaining skeptical.

In a recent Hamas parade in Gaza, a yet-unseen capability was displayed: attack dogs, apparently styled after the IDF’s Oketz canine unit.

Hamas’ canine unit is a part of the Nohba (“elect”) tunnel unit of the organization, and has been used so far for patrolling the new paved patrol road that runs along the border with Israel – 250 meters running inside PA territory. IDF responds after Syrian mortar explodes in Israel

 

No reported causalities or damage after Syrian war spillover, when a mortar explodes near the border fence on the Israeli side of the Golan Heights Wednesday night.

Earlier in the evening, a mortar shell fired from a tank in Syria exploded in open territory in the Golan Heights along Israel’s northern border. The IDF attacked a Syrian army post in retaliation.

Sirens were sounded on Wednesday night, shortly before 11:00 p.m., in the resort city of Eilat and in the Eilot Regional Council.

Residents in the area reported hearing explosions immediately after the sirens.

The IDF confirmed that three rockets were fired from Egypt towards Eilat and that the Iron Dome anti-missile system intercepted them.

Abbas tells French Senate: PA may end Security Cooperation over Israel’s ‘colonization’

VIDEO: Female soldier nabs Hamas terrorists shooting at IDF on very first shift

 

During the performance of her very first guard shift after completing her specialized ‘lookout observer’ course, Pvt. Gali Badhani identified a terrorist aiming, then firing at Israeli forces from Gaza, prompting the IDF to destroy the Hamas outpost on Monday.
