Dubbed the “Shoko Drone,” the IDF’s newest UAV hovers over rioters and releases small plastic bags packed with “skunk water” that burst on contact. Not harmful in cases of a direct hit, but rioters are overcome by nausea & the immediate need to ‘take a bath.’
By David Israel
Israel’s Defense Ministry’s weapons R&D on Wednesday revealed a new development that will help IDF soldiers disperse rioters with non-violent means. Dubbed the “Shoko Drone,” the new device hovers over groups of rioters and dumps its payload of plastic baggies packed with “skunk water,” which erupt on contact, sharply reducing quality of life wherever they hit, but no one is hurt beyond being seized by nausea. Israel has the unenviable title of having the largest carbon footprint per capita due to poultry consumption in the world, a study comparing annual carbon dioxide emissions across 130 countries revealed on Tuesday.
German nutrition retailer nu3 analyzed data from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to assess which countries have the potential to significantly reduce their carbon footprint by switching their consumption habits to a plant-based diet that would minimize damage to the environment. Complicit in the theft of religious heritage sites, UNESCO happily ascribed to the ‘Palestinians’, Christianity’s Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem in 2012; the agricultural terraces of Battir, site of the ancient Jewish fortress at Betar, in 2014; Judaism’s Tomb of the Patriarchs in 2017, but their most egregious abandonment of their responsibilities, in 2016 UNESCO ignored the Jewish connection to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.

The next “prize” the Palestinians will likely claim as their own at UNESCO will probably be the archeological site of Qumran and its Dead Sea Scrolls, Shimon Samuels of the Simon Wiesenthal Center said on Wednesday. Continue Reading »

Vindicated: The once-ridiculed Prof. Piran, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, said he was treated with ‘utter contempt’ after publishing his heavy-metals effect prediction of a Neutron star collision, back in 1989.
For the first time, scientists have witnessed the cataclysmic crash of two ultra-dense neutron stars in a galaxy far away, and concluded that such impacts forged at least half the gold in the Universe.
But the observation is both exciting and perhaps almost bittersweet for a group of Israeli scientists who predicted the idea which was dismissed by the scientific community at the time.
Astronomers using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory have discovered the largest and brightest set of rings from X-ray light echoes ever observed.
