Palestinian Official: ‘Israel stole our snake’

After Israel chose the daboia palaestinae to be its national snake, the Palestinian Authority protested the move, calling it an act of ‘theft’ and an affront to preserve ‘Palestinian identity’.

Last Thursday, Israel’s Society for the Protection of Nature and the Israel Nature and Parks Authority named the Palestine viper as Israel’s national snake.

The Palestine viper, or daboia palaestinae, was selected based on an online vote.

Found across the Levant, from the northern Negev and western Jordan in the south to northern Lebanon and central Syria in the north, the snake is common throughout most of Israel, and in Hebrew is referred to as the ‘common viper’, or ‘common Land of Israel viper’. Continue Reading »

Israel responds to Palestinian threats should Arabs sell land to Jews in Jerusalem

After Palestinian Authority’s autocrat leader Mahmoud Abbas began a campaign against east Jerusalem resident on suspicion of selling land or property to Jews, Israel’s security forces raided the Palestinian General Intelligence offices, confiscating the office’s computers & documents that detailed the PA’s racist and apartheid activities.
– 2 Palestinians were wounded during the raid.

Ben & Jerry’s Israel released a statement Wednesday distancing itself from a new flavor of ice cream in the United States that has stirred up controversy.

On Tuesday, the global company announced it was launching a new flavor titled “Pecan Resist.” The limited edition ice cream – chocolate with fudge, pecans, walnuts and almonds – “supports groups creating a more just and equitable nation for us all, and who are fighting President Trump’s regressive agenda,” the company said. PLO condemns Brazilian President-elect over embassy relocation to Jerusalem

Senior PLO official Hanan Ashrawi warns Brazilian President-elect Jair Bolsonaro over his vow to maintain his campaign-promise to relocate Brazil’s embassy to Jerusalem as, “provocative and illegal.”

Senior Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) official Hanan Ashrawi on Friday condemned Brazilian President-elect Jair Bolsonaro’s announcement that he would move his country’s Israel embassy to Jerusalem.

“These are provocative and illegal steps that will only destabilize security and stability in the region,” Ashrawi, a member of the PLO executive committee, told AFP.

“It is very unfortunate that Brazil has joined this negative alliance against international law,” she said, referring to a small number of countries supporting the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move its embassy there. Continue Reading »

Suspected involvement in kidnapping, Israel Police arrest PA ‘Governor of J’lem’

Israel arrested Adnan Rith, who serves as the ‘Palestinian Governor of Jerusalem’ for his reported involvement in the kidnapping of an American citizen, Issam Aqel, by the Palestinian Authority for selling land to Jews.

The conference had taken place in the Silwan Club located in East Jerusalem’s Ras Al Amud neighborhood.

Legendary rock star Jon Bon Jovi returns to Israel and will play in Tel Aviv once again to the chagrin of the notorious BDS stooge & musician, Roger Waters.

Bon Jovi will perform in Israel next summer, Haaretz reported on Tuesday.

The planned date for the performance, July 25, 2019, was revealed by accident in a newsletter the American rock band sent to fans. It will take place at the Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv, according to the report.

Mobileye, Volkswagen, Champion Motors launch driverless taxi service in Israel

Israel’s Mobileye, Volkswagen and Champion Motors unite to launch a joint venture of self-driving taxis next year in Israel, beginning with several dozen, then expanding with hundreds of self-driving electric vehicles.

The Volkswagen Group together with Israel-based Mobileye and Israel’s Champion Motors announced plans to deploy Israel’s first self-driving ride-hailing service – or Mobility-as-a-Service – starting next year. For this, the partners are planning to establish a joint venture.

The planned cooperation is subject to approval by the relevant authorities and bodies.

PLO Central Council suspends recognition of the State of Israel

The PLO said that it would rescind its recognition of Israel until the Jewish State recognizes the ‘State of Palestine’ at the pre-1967 lines with east Jerusalem as its capital; adoption of the PLO Central Council’s recommendation essentially brings the Oslo Accord to an end.

The Israeli national anthem— Hatikvah—was played for the second day in a row in Abu Dhabi after semi heavyweight judoka Peter Paltchik had won the gold medal at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam judo tournament on Monday.

Paltchik nabbed the gold after bearting Azerbaijan’s Elmar Gasimov.

Israeli Official: Israel Air Force operations in Syria continued after S-300 delivery

A senior Israeli official put to rest worries that since Syria accidentally downed a Russian intel-gathering plane during an IAF attack on Iranian targets in Syria, the introduction of S-300 anti-aircraft missile batteries have not curtailed continued IDF operations.

Israel has attacked targets in Syria since the downing of the Russian intelligence plane on September 18, a senior Israeli official said on Monday.

The official said that the military coordination with Moscow is continuing as it did before the downing of the plane, in which 15 Russian airmen lost their lives.

IDF jets blow up Palestinian terrorists placing road-side-bomb on Israel’s border

The Palestinian terror-cell, which had three of its members blown up, was located in the southern Gaza Strip. A Palestinian report from Gaza acknowledged the three deaths were a result of a [retaliatory] air-strike facilitated by 37 rockets that were fired at Israel.

The IDF struck a terror cell trying to place an IED explosive device on the border fence between Israel and the Gaza Strip, the army said in a statement on Sunday.

IDF shoots 4 Palestinian terrorists dead during Gaza border riots

IDF Spokesperson’s Unit reported many of the estimated 16,000 demonstrators attending Friday’s riots were burning tires on Israel’s border; many others were hurling Molotov cocktails, hand grenades and stones at the Israeli soldiers.
