Editors from the online Jewish affairs magazine Tablet decided they could no longer remain silent in the face of U.S. President Barack Obama’s most recent comments against the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC’s efforts to curb the nuclear deal with Iran. The Tiferet Yisrael Synagogue, destroyed by Jordan when Israel lost East Jerusalem in the 1948 war, is finally being rebuilt, but in opposition to Arab leaders screaming “occupation”.

The start of a project to rebuild the Tiferet Yisrael synagogue in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City is infuriating Muslims. The synagogue was built in the 1860s but blown up by the Jordanian army in 1948.

The company, travelauto.com, is an online marketplace for car rentals, allowing users to select from a variety of local car rentals through their web portal. Newly-leaked documents once again confirm accusations against Palestinian Authority (PA) officials of corruption and misusing public funds. A senior PA official, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed to Associated Press that the documents are authentic.
