An exiled Iranian opposition group Tuesday accused Tehran of running a “secret” uranium enrichment site close to Tehran, which it said violated ongoing talks with global powers on a nuclear deal.

MAJOR Daily Mail blunder – twice: It claims Israel flooded ‘Gaza’s major West Bank cities’

Unbelievable inaccuracies for UK news media:
1. There are no dams in southern Israel
2. Nablus & Jenin cannot be “two of Gaza’s major West Bank cities.”

 

British paper The Daily Mail published a story on Monday that originally accused Israel of intentionally opening dams in southern Israel in order to flood Gaza. The only problem is, as writer and Lydia Willgress has learned the hard way, there are no dams in southern Israel.

Honest Reporting, an NGO that according to its website “monitors the news for bias, inaccuracy, or other breach of journalistic standards in coverage of the Arab-Israeli conflict,” took screen shots of the article before amendments were made. Continue Reading »

After a wave of attacks targeting Jewish community centers in Europe, a group of European rabbis have decided that if and when the time comes, they will be prepared.

The heads of the European Jewish Association and the rabbinical center of Europe have decided to train European rabbis in self-defense and first aid for victims of terror attacks.

Fatah Ringleader Shot Dead While Attacking IDF

An Arab rioter attacking IDF forces was reportedly shot dead on Tuesday morning at the Dheisheh “refugee camp” located outside of Bethlehem, in Judea.

The 19-year-old rioter, named as Jihad al-Jafari, was killed overnight during clashes targeting the IDF, according to Palestinian Arab medics who spoke to AFP.

An IDF spokesperson noted that the troops were assaulted by a group of Arab rioters hurling rocks, firebombs and other incendiary devices, and that in the onslaught a soldier was wounded.

Cleared for Publication: Hamas Terror-Cell in West Bank Arrested

A serious security mishap occurred on Saturday morning, as two people succeeded in breaching the Israeli border from Jordan despite IDF preparations, in an incident raising fears about the possibility of foreign terrorists freely infiltrating into the Jewish state.

IDF trackers were dispatched as soon as the breach was identified, reports Walla!, and at the scene they found footprints leading to Highway 90 between Grofit and Yotvata in the Arava region of the Negev to the north of Eilat, in an area just to the east of Ovda Airport.

Following the online release of a video depicting passengers on an Israir flight screaming and swearing at a flight attendant and threatening him, the two sides have begun to speak out and give their version of events.

The flight attendant, Nir Levov, explained the course of events to Ynet. “The story began long before the video,” he said.

Stolen Torah Returned to Jewish Community by Iranian Police

Jewish Iranian MP thanks police for the return of an ‘invaluable’ Torah scroll that was among several ancient manuscripts that ‘disappeared’ from a Shiraz synagogue.

Iran’s FARS news agency reports that an ancient hand-written Torah that had been stolen from a synagogue in southern Iran was found and returned by Iran’s paramilitary Basij police force to the Jewish community.

A number of ancient Torah manuscripts were reported lost about two weeks ago from a synagogue in Shiraz, the capital city of Iran’s Southern Fars province.
