AGAIN, Armed Palestinian terrorist shot dead sneaking into Israel

After 4 armed Palestinian terrorists were killed yesterday in a firefight with IDF soldiers, today another armed terrorist was neutralized after foolishly  attempting to stealthily traverse the Israeli border fence from northern Gaza.

IDF lookouts on Sunday morning identified an armed terrorist approaching the border fence in the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

The terrorist fired at IDF soldiers along the border. The soldiers, who were on alert following the identification of the terrorist, opened fire at him.

The Israel Defense Forces said Saturday that it foiled a major terror attack in the area of the Gaza border in the early hours of the day, placing responsibility for an attempted infiltration by four Palestinians on Hamas.

Israel erects 6 meter high ‘smart-fence’ on border with Gaza

On Israel’s most explosive border, the new ‘smart’ 6 meter (20 ft) high barrier will be 65 kilometers long, made of thick galvanized steel, layered with razor wire, equipped with vibration censors & cameras and will be defended immediately by IDF soldiers stationed near by.

Four Palestinian terrorists breached the Gaza border fence Monday and tried to set fire to an IDF sniper post inside Israeli territory. Israeli forces fired at the infiltrators, killing one and critically wounding another.

US Homeland Security fancies Israel’s Egypt border-fence for Mexico

Looking for ideas for President Donald Trump’s U.S. border-fence with Mexico, US Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen toured Israel’s Egyptian border on Tuesday, with an eye on the towering, sensor-rigged fence.

US Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen inspected Israel’s fenced-off border with Egypt on Tuesday for ideas for the U.S. border with Mexico, where President Donald Trump has pledged to build a wall, Israel Radio reported.

Israel’s ultra-tech Jordanian border fence completed, int’l airport protected

Israel’s Defense Ministry and the IDF’s fence-building administration have completed a 26 meter high fence that will protect the soon to open Assaf and Ilan Ramon Int’l Airport from Kornet missiles etc., should they be fired from Jordan.

Two years after work began on the smart fence capable of stopping Kornet missiles aimed towards Israel’s newest civilian airport, Eilat Ilan and Assaf Ramon International Airport, the 26-meter-high fence been completed.

IDF forces stationed along the Israel-Gaza border opened fire Sunday on several terrorists at various locations along the frontier while they attempted to tear openings in the security fence separating Israel from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian Authority media outlets, three Gazans were wounded Sunday after they approached the Israeli border security fence and attempted to damage it.

Hezbollah chief warns Israel to stop construction of border wall with Lebanon

Hassan Nasrallah has warned Israel  to cease work on upgraded border wall that the IDF deems imperative in it’s overall strategy for preventing future terrorists’ infiltration from Lebanon.

Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has warned Israel against continued construction of a wall along its border with Lebanon, after Beirut said the project was undermining peace.

“After liberating the Lebanese occupied territories from the Zionist enemy in 2000, the UN demarcation of the national border with the Palestinian territories left 13 controversial positions, and the Lebanese government informed the UNIFIL about its rejection for any Israeli measure in this concern,” Nasrallah was quoted by Hezbollah website al-Manar as saying. Arab terrorists from Egypt open fire on IDF patrol

Terrorists open small-arm’s fire from the Sinai Peninsula on IDF soldiers along Israel’s border fence. IDF reports no soldiers were injured, but a military vehicle did sustain damage.

Arabs opened fire on Sunday evening from the Sinai Peninsula towards an IDF force that was engaged in operational activity near the security fence along the Egyptian border.

There were no injuries among the soldiers, but a military vehicle sustained light damage.

The IDF said that the incident is believed to be a spillover of gunfire from Egypt.

Israeli company wins tender to build prototype smart-wall for US-Mexico border

A subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries was named 1 of the 4 companies to win the gov’t tender to build a prototype of a ‘smart border wall’ US Pres. Trump wants between the US and Mexico.
– Elta, the IAI subsidiary, will receive a $300,000-500,000 grant to develop a working model.

Israel completes heightening Egyptian border fence to 8 meters

 

Israel’s border fence was extended from 5 meters to 8 meters high along a 17-kilometer stretch is meant to squash the trickle of illegal African migration, and drug & weapons trafficking from the Sinai.

Israel has finished raising the height of the electronic “smart” fence along part of the border with Egypt to stop infiltration into the country by migrants, the Defense Ministry reported.

Construction of the original barrier, equipped with information collection centers and warning systems and known as the Hourglass Project, was completed in 2014 at a height of five meters along 242 kilometers, from the Gaza Strip to Eilat on the Red Sea. Continue Reading »
