Footage has emerged of two brave Border Police officers neutralizing the terrorists outside Jerusalem’s Old City Wednesday, then immediately working to treat the victims.

Two Arab terrorists stabbed three Israelis in their thirties Wednesday afternoon at Jerusalem’s Jaffa Gate.

Border Policewomen stationed in the area opened fire on both of them, killing one and wounding the other, who was then promptly taken into custody; the footage shows the two moving quickly to both help neutralize the attacker and help security forces and bystanders treat victims.

Arab killed in Jerusalem by Border Police While Throwing Firebomb

A group of Arabs threw about ten Molotov cocktails at Border Police in the eastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Ras al-Amud. Arab sources report that security forces returned fire and killed one rioter before the rest dispersed.

Released for Publication: Israel’s Yamam Police Bust Arab Weapons Trafficking Ring

 

The closing of the weapons trafficking began ten days ago when the lead suspect, an Israeli Arab, was arrested carrying 3 pistols, an AK-47 automatic assault rifle, ammunition & various weapon parts.

Ten days ago, Police of the Judea and Samaria District arrested a 45-year-old Israeli Arab resident of Shu’fat in Jerusalem, as part of an investigation that dealt with allegations of weapons trafficking.

The suspect was caught in the possession of a bag which contained three handguns, an AK-47 rifle, ammunition and various weapons parts.

The arrest was made following an investigation which was conducted by the Central Unit of the Judea and Samaria District, that dealt with a large scale weapons trafficking. Continue Reading »

19 police officers & IDF soldiers recognized as disabled since start of Palestinian terror-attacks

The Arab terrorist approached the checkpoint close to the Cave of the Patriarchs and aroused the suspicion of border police stationed there.

An Israel Border Police officer is in critical condition after being stabbed Sunday at Damascus Gate, outside the Old City in Jerusalem, Israel Police reported Sunday.

The terrorist, an 18-year-old resident of the West Bank, was shot at the scene and is in critical condition.

Muslim Arab terrorists hurled a pipe bomb at about 1 a.m., Tuesday night at a Border Police vehicle that was driving on the military road next to the security barrier at Abu Dis, just east of Jerusalem.

No one was reported hurt in the ambush, which led policemen – along with another Border Police team that was operating nearby – to catch the perpetrators.

A Palestinian resident of the Al-Ram neighborhood in East Jerusalem was arrested on Tuesday on the suspicion he posed as an Israeli Border Police officer, “arrested” Palestinians, and then blackmailed them for their “release.”

Attempt to Stab Border Policeman Foiled in East Jerusalem

Female Arab terrorist attempted to stab Border Police officer in Issawiya but was stopped in time.

Border Police officers foiled a stabbing attack in the eastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred as dozens of Arab youths were throwing rocks at Border Police officers who were patrolling the neighborhood.

The officers began arresting the Arabs, when one of them, a female, tried stabbing one of the officers. She was immediately stopped. The officer was not hurt.

Earlier Wednesday, a Palestinian Arab man attempted to run over IDF soldiers near Homesh in northern Samaria, before fleeing the scene of the crime. Continue Reading »
