Israel’s Golan Druze leader laughs at UN claim of ‘hardship of occupation’

“I don’t understand what they’re talking about, it’s laughable,” the mayor of Majdal Shams said. Druze in the Golan “don’t serve in the IDF, and so far are only receiving from the state. Why don’t they condemn the horrors in Syria, where dozens of children are killed daily? (Israel’s) Golan residents have a good life.”

By Itamar Eichner

The draft decision presented by the Palestinians and Jordanians includes a number of problematic points in relation to Israel. Firstly, the draft calls on Israel to return the Temple Mount and the al-Aqsa mosque to “the historic status quo,” a new phrase implying that the sites should be returned to their pre-1967 status. The Continue Reading »

Lunatic Moon Fixated on Israeli Madness, Ignores Palestinian Savagery

UN’s secretary-general Moon suggests Israel’s leaders are insane, but who’s really suffering from lunacy?

By David Lazarus

The definition of insanity is when you keep repeating the same action over and over again, compulsively, obsessively, while thinking that somehow you will get a different result.

That is what UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon said about Israeli leaders this week during his brief visit to the country. “You must stop repeating the same platitudes and expecting a different result. It is maddening,” he blustered during a speech to dignitaries at Tel Aviv University.

Israelis left scratching their heads, wondering, “Who’s insane?

UNHRC Chief Threatens Israel for Noncompliance in Human Rights Investigation

Israel’s refusal to cooperate with the UN stems from Jerusalem’s deep conviction that the embedded, one-sided investigation is akin to a “kangaroo” court whose anti-Israel outcome is already predetermined.

The United Nations implied Monday that Israel could be in trouble over its continued refusal to allow human rights investigators to alleged violations of international law against Palestinians access to the West Bank and Gaza.

Canada again backs Israel at the UN when Europe does not

Trudeau’s government, as did former Liberal PM Paul Martin’s and Conservative PM Stephen Harper’s, continue to take the morally correct path by not voting against resolutions singling out only Israel, as Europe has joined the jackals of the United Nations.

Britain, France, Germany and other EU states joined the UN jackals to demonize Israel

Had the EU wanted, they could have set the record straight, and taken a stand against such baseless demonization of the Jewish state. Disgracefully, however, Britain, France, Germany and the other EU states joined the UN jackals by voting against Israel, as the world’s only violator of health rights.

By UN Watch

The UK, France, Germany and other EU states voted today for a UN resolution, co-sponsored by the Arab group of states and the Palestinian delegation, that singled out Israel at the annual assembly of the World Health Organization (WHO) as the only violator of “mental, physical and environmental health,” and commissioned a WHO delegation to investigate and report on “the health conditions in the occupied Palestinian territory” and in “the occupied Syrian Golan,” and to place it on the agenda again at next year’s meeting.
