Israeli microsatellite to help agricultural technologies feed developing countries

U.N. set to debate draft resolution calling for Israel to head efforts to assist agriculture worldwide via the images from its Israeli-French vegetation monitoring microsatellite, Venus.

The United Nations is expected to announce Monday that Israel will head efforts to assist agriculture worldwide through the analysis of satellite images derived from its Venus satellite.

The Venus vegetation and environment monitoring microsatellite, launched into space in late July, was developed by Israel Aerospace Industries in collaboration with the French space agency CNES.

Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense Systems produced the satellite’s innovative electric propulsion system, and defense electronics contractor Elbit Systems provided advanced high-resolution cameras that will enable the satellite to better monitor the earth’s vegetation and any changes on the ground. UN sent to Jerusalem District Court for illegal construction

Even though PM Netanyahu and the UN Sec General discussed and agreed that all future construction within the UN compound would be in accordance with state and local laws, it appears the UN again, has been caught preparing for new, illegal, construction.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stated that he concluded with UN Secretary General Guterres that current and future construction by the UN at the Government Palace will be carried out in accordance with the principles of zoning and building laws.

However, it turns out that only recently has UNTSO issued a tender for the demolition and reconstruction of one of the buildings built during the British Mandate in the Armon Hanatziv compound – in violation of the law and without a building permit from the Jerusalem Municipality. UN agency accuses Israel of extrajudicial executions omitting they were armed terrorists

 

A United Nations group has charged Israel in their report of using “force that has at times been deemed excessive” against the Palestinians, “which may have amounted to extrajudicial executions.”

The UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) accused Israel in a report Wednesday of using “force that has at times been deemed excessive” against the Palestinians, “which may have amounted to extrajudicial executions.”According to ECOSOC, from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, Israeli security forces killed 63 Palestinians, including 19 children, and wounded 2,276 others, including 562 children.

Jerusalem asks Washington to nullify Obama’s sanctioned anti-Israel UNSC Resolution 2334

 

Israel’s Foreign Ministry seeks to garner support for abating undue UN criticism and exaggerated focus on Israel by slashing their budget and manpower resources dedicated to just anti-Israel scrutiny, as well as the disproportionate number of Security Council resolutions continuously presented against Israel (at the behest of the Palestinians).

The Israeli Foreign Ministry appealed this week to US Envoy to the UN Nikki Haley to nullify Security Council Resolution 2334 which calls for an end to settlement construction while simultaneously declaring them illegal, both in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem.

Newly released UN documents prove allies knew of Jewish genocide years earlier

 

Newly released documents show the Allied Powers did little to stop the genocide, with one minister in the UK war department, Viscount Cranborne, commenting, ‘Jews are not a special case and that Britain is burdened with too many refugees as it is.’

Newly released documents provided by the United Nations revealed on Tuesday that the Allied Powers were well aware of the Jewish Holocaust at the hands of the Nazi regime at least two-and-a-half years earlier than commonly thought, according to The Independent.

The documents, not seen for more than 70 years, showed at the same time that the Allies, made up of the United States, Russia and the United Kingdom, had prepared war crime indictments against Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and his top subordinates.

Another Arab controlled UN report equates Israel to American slavery

 

The same Arab dominated UN committee whose report set off a firestorm leading to its withdrawal as libel, and the resignation of its author, UN Under-Secretary-General Rima Khalaf, means to try again in June, this time equating “the Israeli Occupation” to slavery in the United States.

The UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) is expected to publish a report equating “the Israeli Occupation” to slavery in the United States and put the financial damages suffered by Palestinians as a result of “50 years of occupation” in the billions of dollars.

UN REPORT: Israel ranks 11th as ‘World’s Happiest Country’

 

According to the United Nations’ 2017 World Happiness Report published Monday, Israel has been ranked the world’s 11th happiest country for the 4th year in a row, placing comfortably ahead of the United States, which is 14th.

The report, which was released to coincide with the UN’s International Day of Happiness, uses happiness levels to quantify social progress and direct the goals of public policy.

Israel, US reject UN agency’s invidious report of ‘Apartheid Regime’, as outright lie

 

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric told reporters in New York, “The report as it stands does not reflect the views of the secretary-general (Antonio Guterres),” adding that the report itself reflects the views of the authors, ESCWA, that’s comprised of 18 Arab states in Western Asia.

A UN agency published a report on Wednesday accusing Israel of imposing an “apartheid regime” of racial discrimination on the Palestinian people, and said it was the first time a UN body had clearly made the charge.
