Israel’s PM Netanyahu: Jerusalem in ‘close contact’ with Moscow to avoid Syria misunderstandings

 

Speaking to IDF soldiers, Israel’s PM assures them that, “The reality in the Middle East is changing very rapidly, and not necessarily to our detriment.”

 

Israel is in “close contact” with Moscow, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday, the day Russia launched a major new offensive in Syria.

Netanyahu, on a visit to the new military training complex named after Ariel Sharon in the Negev, was asked about Russia’s presence in Syria by a soldier.

The Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, with the military capabilities reserved for only national armies, shows off its arsenal of tanks and APCs on foreign soil for the 1st time ever.

Arab media has published pictures of the massive amounts of Hezbollah forces in Syria. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on the show of force, as did various Hezbollah media outlets.The Shia terror group didn’t officially publish any of the pictures.

City of Ramallah – Abbas’ capital of Palestinian terror

 

Palestinian media noted that between November 5-10, 60 attacks on Jews were perpetrated by Arabs and 1/4 were in the vicinity of Ramallah, home of the PA headquarters.

Out of 60 attacks carried out last week against Israelis, a full quarter of them (15) were centered around Ramallah, including the attacks near Beit El, Beit Horon, Psagot, and the Ofer Prison.

A Palestinian-Arab newspaper noted that between November 5-10, 60 attacks were carried out by Arabs against Jews.

GAZA – Days after the 12th anniversary of the death of Yasser Arafat, Palestinian leaders descended into new recriminations over who may have been involved in the demise of the former president.

Coming two weeks before a meeting that is expected to overhaul the leadership of Fatah, the party of Arafat and President Mahmoud Abbas, the accusations underscore a growing animosity that threatens the movement’s stability.

Media Silent as Palestinians Forcibly Convert Christians: They Can’t Blame Israel

 

 

Christians in Gaza held a rally against the abduction and forced conversion of their children. “Christians who converted to Islam did so under threats, coercion, compulsion and force,” said Christian leader.

You’d think a story like this would be making major headlines, given the amount of attention that’s afforded every other aspect of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. But the forced conversion of Christians to Islam by Gaza’s Hamas rulers just doesn’t seem to interest Western power brokers.

Mavi Marmara victims’ families vow to continue court cases

Despite the recent $20 million reconciliation deal concluded between Israel and Turkey, the families of the Turkish citizens killed on the 2010 flotilla ship, the Mavi Marmara, which was bound for Gaza, will not be dropping their cases against Israeli officers, according to AFP.

REPORT: Saudi Arabia ends its financial support to Abbas and the Palestinians

The official reason for the Saudis end to financial aid is unknown, yet speculation is rife as Abbas has ignored suggestions of normalization with Israel, candidates for his replacement, and the distance he’s taken with the ‘Arab Quartet.’

Monday, a Hamas member was killed in a Gaza terror-tunnel collapse, just 48 hours after Saturday’s tunnel collapse that also killed a Palestinian terrorist.

Portraying a dictator, PA president Abbas ousts another parliamentarian from Fatah movement

 

Coming to the defense of the latest expelled Palestinian Legislative Council leader, Mohammed Dahlan told the BBC on Sunday that no one has the authority to oust Fatah members from the party. “He who thinks he can expel members from Fatah should know that he does not possess such authority,” Dahlan said.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas ousted parliamentarian Jihad Tummaleh from his Fatah faction on Saturday.

“Jihad Tummaleh is expelled from Fatah,” read an official Fatah memo.
