Deputy Minister Michael Oren got into an exchange of condemnations on Twitter with the French ambassador on Saturday after France voted in favor of a Kuwait-proposed resolution draft on “international protection” for the Palestinian people.

Israeli jets hit 5 additional Hamas targets after continued rocket attacks

Earlier Saturday night, IAF fighter jets hit 10 terrorists’ sites in 3 Hamas compounds, including 2 munition manufacturing facilities and storage sites. Second wave went after Hamas’ ‘naval force’ in the northern part of the terrorist enclave.

IAF fighter jets on Sunday morning targeted five terror targets at a military compound belonging to the Hamas terror organization’s naval force in the northern Gaza Strip, said the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.

NATO Chairman: NATO won’t defend Israel in case of war with Iran

Jens Stoltenberg’s comment comes despite closer cooperation seen by Israel’s and NATO’s growing alliance that was demonstrated this May by Israel’s participation in a joint naval exercise.

Jens Stoltenberg, the head of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), told a German media outlet on Saturday that NATO would not side with Israel in the event that the Islamic Republic of Iran attacks the Jewish state.

PA Leader Abbas Turned Away US Congressional Democratic Delegation

Still fuming over President Trump’s  Jerusalem recognition, the PA autocrat refused to meet with a U.S. delegation of 11 Democratic representatives, despite their lack of allegiance to, and continued criticism of, the US president.

Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas refused to meet with a delegation of Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives that visited Israel two months ago, in protest of the Trump administration’s policies toward Israel, Haaretz revealed.

According to the newspaper, Abbas’ refusal to meet the delegation caught its members by surprise, because many of them are constant critics of the Trump administration and were hoping to hear Abbas’ point of view about Trump’s policies while visiting the region. Continue Reading »

Israel’s Supreme Court: Facebook can be sued in Israel

Israel’s Supreme Court rejected Facebook’s request to dismiss lawsuit filed in Israel and determined that the stipulations in the user-license-agreement should be annulled, allowing lawsuits to be filed in Israel.

The Supreme Court ruled that Israeli claims filed against Facebook will be heard in Israeli courts, even though the user-license-agreement to join the site says suits can only be filed in a California court.

IDF Video details ‘secret’ Gaza targets destroyed, including Hamas subs

ICRC send ‘War Surgeons’ to deal with Gaza’s June ‘an-Naksah’ riots

Swiss FM mulls continued funding of UNRWA, ‘part of the problem’

Switzerland’s new foreign minister Ignazio Cassis on Wednesday questioned the role of the United Nations refugee agency agency for Palestinians and its ability to assist its beneficiaries, casting doubt on whether the Swiss government would continue funding the organization.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), was established after the war surrounding Israel’s creation in 1948, when around 700,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled.
