In an effort to divert some of the Israeli outrage in the wake of the European Union’s decision to brand Israeli products made in East Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights, EU Ambassador to Israel Lars Faaborg-Andersen explained the situation thus to Army Radio:

[Branding products] is a very technical matter that basically concerns European consumer legislation which requires that it is clear to consumers where products are coming from not only from this part of the world, not only from Israel or the territories, but across the globe. Continue Reading »

Bodies of 15 African Migrants Discovered Near Israel’s Border By Egyptian Police

 

In attempting to come to the Jewish State through Egypt’s Sinai desert, 15 African migrants were shot dead near Israel’s border by unknown assailants.

The bodies of 15 African migrants were found Sunday by Egyptian police near the country’s border with Israel, according to security sources. Another eight migrants were reportedly found injured.

Israeli officials demand explanation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva, after Arab ambulance of the Palestinian Red Crescent ignored dying Jewish victims of terror attack on Friday near Hevron.

Following reports that a Red Crescent ambulance passed by the site of Friday’s deadly terrorist attack and ignored the victims as they lay dying, the Israeli government will be launching an international campaign against the organization, which in principle does not treat Jews – despite being bound to treat all casualties regardless off their identity.

Israel’s Justice Minister seeks fines on parents of underage Palestinian attackers

 

Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked plans on placing responsibility on parents that encourage stone-throwing kids under the age of 12, by levying heavy fines to keep them from exploiting the children as a tool in the terror machine.

Islamic State takes credit for double suicide blast killing 41 in Hezbollah section of Beirut

Two explosions in a predominantly Shi’ite area of southern Beirut have killed at least 41 people, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry as cited by Al Jazeera. At least 200 are said to be injured.

The Hermes 900 Kochav (“Star”), which became operational this week, is a medium-size multi-payload unmanned aerial vehicle, designed for long-endurance tactical reconnaissance, surveillance, and communications missions.
