Undeterred by the latest wave of Palestinian violence, 65 Canadian and US Jews, aged 10 months – 83 years old, decided to make Israel their new home.

Despite the current wave of terror attacks against Israelis in recent days, which has the country on high alert and has seen civilians determinedly protecting themselves from knife attacks, 65 new immigrants (or Olim) from the United States and Canada landed in Israel yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

They came via El Al Israel airlines, on a Nefesh B’Nefesh (NBN) group Aliyah flight which was facilitated in cooperation with Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption, the Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren Kayemeth Le’Israel, and JNF-USA.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas released a pre-recorded speech to the Palestinian public Wednesday night in which he mostly repeated statements from past speeches, choosing not to call for a de-escalation.

Several Gulf States Attempting to Aquire Israel’s Iron Dome

 

In a deal that could be worth hundreds of billions of dollars, several Arab states are seeking to purchase the Israeli-developed anti-missile defense system, in defense to Iran’s growing arsenal, and regional agenda.

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait are attempting to purchase the Israeli-developed Iron Dome missile defense system in light of the threat of Iran’s growing rocket arsenal, Sky News reported on Wednesday.

The deal’s scope, if it were to take place, is estimated to be tens, perhaps hundreds of billions of dollars.
